I wanted to let everyone know I am running for the Potosi R-3 School District school board this year. There are 3 positions open with 4 candidates. First, I want everyone to know that I'm not running against any of the incumbents but have felt the call to do this for a few years now. I only have one agenda and that is to see Potosi R-3 school district be successful. I am a PHS graduate and lived in Potosi nearly all of my life. I moved to Columbia to attend UM Columbia for computer science courses and training. After completing all of my classes and training I moved to Kansas City and worked 3 years for USDA as a computer programmer. After 3 years in Kansas City I received a transfer from USDA in Kansas City to the Internal Revenue Service in St. Louis and worked there for 17 years. I lived in St. Louis for 1 year to be close to my job. I wasn't happy living in St. Louis so I moved back to Potosi the place I love to call home. From Potosi I drove to work in Clayton for 9 years. After that I received a transfer to the IRS main office in down to St. Louis and drove there for 7 years from Potosi. I was very fortunate and had an opportunity to retire after 20 years of Federal service. I have a beautiful wife Debra and a beautiful 9 (soon to be 10) year old daughter Hannah. Hannah is currently a student at the Trojan Intermediate School. Win or lose I am already a winner in life and will always support the school district by being a volunteer and supporter of Potosi R-3 School District. Don’t forget to vote on the first Tuesday April 4th. I would appreciate your vote in this upcoming election. Be watching for my yard signs, flyers and candidate advertisements. Please SHARE this with ALL of your friends. Your trust and vote for me as a potential board member is and will be greatly appreciated.
