It can be hard to find a trustworthy mechanic especially when it's a big job like having your engine replaced but this is the place. I had a new engine put in my truck and I can't say enough good things about how great they were. It was done faster than expected, great communication and they have been very helpful with any issue that's come up. This is a reputable and legitimate shop. I'm a customer for life.
Still the worst transmission sop around. Worst transmission shop around. I had the transmission in my truck rebuilt at this shop March 19th, 2019. I paid them $2000 to rebuild it. 2 days later just before they closed, Leonard called and said my truck was ready. I picked it up and drove it home. The transmission was still doing the same thing it was doing when I took it there to have it rebuilt. I’ve taken it back a few times and each time I get it back, it’s still doing the same thing. They never rebuilt the transmission in my truck. They ripped me off for $2000. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Randys automotive shop refused to respond to the Better Business Bureau when the Better Business Bureau tried to contact them. This place makes a living off of ripping people off. There’s a lot of honest repair shops out there. Randy automotive and transmission is not an honest repair shop.
Leonard has been honest to me. I've been there a couple of times and they gave me a fair price. Probably why I always see lots of fleet vehicles being worked on, such as US Postal to AT&T vehicles. They are constantly busy but helpful.
I would recommend this place without reservation! They are very honest and reasonably priced! They are very open and they don't just tell you what's wrong with your car, they show you so you can see for yourself! I don't know much about cars so usually I am nervous about going to auto shops but I got a good feeling from them and I felt very comfortable. I originally went to Firestone but they were understaffed so I called Randy and he said he could make time for me and fix my car this afternoon. When i arrived he was waiting for me outside and ready to take a look. The service here is excellent! Thanks, Randy!
Went there from a referral on Yelp after my car started overheating. .Leonard the mechanic was great...They replaced a radiator, thermostat, and radiator cap. a. It took them only about 2 hours ....cars running great ..excellent service &customer service... mechanics are quick & prices are low.....The only issue i had is when Leonard made fun of my chicken legs
We called Randy's on a Monday around 2:00 in the afternoon, as our radiator started leaking something fierce. Usually this is an easy fix and your car might be down for a day or two, but we were on vacation and about to hit the freeway to start the 400 mi drive home when it blew. Jared sp? answered our call and let us know that he didn't have our radiator in stock, but would call his parts guy and get back to us. Within just a few minutes, he called to let us know he had it ready and to come on by. We told him we were from out of town and trying to get back on the road ASAP, and he assured us it would be done by the end of business. The estimate he gave us before work began was exactly the price we paid, and they had it done within about 2 1/2 hours. As soon as we pulled out, we got stuck in LA rush hour traffic; there was no fluid leaking, no overheating, not a hint of a problem the entire way home. If that isn't a true pressure test of a brand new radiator, I don't know what is! We also have a warranty on the parts and labor, which extends to multiple shops across the country. So there's no issue of having to bring a busted vehicle back down there, we have shops in our neighborhood that can service us if anything goes wrong; there was no extra charge for the warranty, either. I'm only sorry we don't live in the area, because we would certainly bring them our regular business.
Great mechanics and business. My family and I was in the beginning of our journey from relocating from Washington state to North Carolina when the truck transmission failed. They were honest, helpful, reliable, sympathetic, and FAST!! Give this shop your trust, time, and care of your vehicle. Ace of an experience!
Finding a trustworthy mechanic can be difficult. This is the place to go for any car repairs. Leonard only does what needs to be done, doesn't try to upset the services you need, and best of all, the prices are reasonable.
I hv situation there ..they stole my personal papers, license..no answers..i call da manager and is just going on circles.. I'm make police report when they told me they already call the police which they never did ..police nope we haven't heard anythingI'm really disappoint ..i can't trust this place .... until this day no answers
Very well-trained mechanics and they're fairly quick with turnaround time! That's the one thing I like most is that they keep the parts that they replace to show you what has happened and a breakdown of what things cost and their estimates are almost always spot-on the mark! I refer Randy's many times a month because I believe in their work
