This was a great place. We stayed overnight and selected a pull through. Site was long enough that we did not have to disconnect. Restroom facilities were very good. A plus was that they offered pizza delivered to your rig. It was great - the two of us polished off the entire 12 inch pizza.Service: 5/5
Great folks that own and manage the facility. Well maintained and clean. Nice playground with lots of kiddos enjoying time there. The cabin we stayed in had laminate flooring which I considered a nice step up from the normal wood floor. It made the bed much easier to slide out to get sheets on and off. The foam mattress needs to be replaced, but otherwise ver well maintained. We enjoyed making camp fires each day and used the grate to cook over. Nice set up. Just be aware that the wind 15-20mph nearly the entire time we were there is it's own character in the drama of your stay - I was really impressed with the corner fence that they have installed in most of the tent sites. Can't imagine how anyone would have gotten a tent up or down! As with so many KOA'S that we have stayed at, the town has built up behind and the highway is way 'closer' than it used to be. Auto noise is there, but easy to drown out. Overall, I would recommend it!
Rawlins KOA is primarily for the traveler. Strategically located off of interstate 80 this KOA was a perfect spot to recoup for the night. The campground was very well kept and the bathrooms and showers were clean. There is a small store with hours that run from 9-5.
Nice location. Owner Jacob and staff are very friendly and helpful. Very reasonable price. Only stayed for one night as we were just passing through, but would definitely return. Plenty of space in a pull-thru site. Just what we needed after a long day of travel. Easy access to services and stores close by.Rooms: 5/5
This place was really amazing and the Owner’s/Staff were the best. Gave us directions to some of the most beautiful places we have seen. Definitely going to stay there again, easy in and out with plenty to see and do to keep anyone busy. Nice laid back town and very kind people.Service: 5/5
Easy and level site. The facilities are clean and the store is great. The staff is always willing to help. Combine the nice camp experience with being close to many restaurants, sites, and stores, this should be a stop for more than an overnight. Hope you enjoy a several day's stay here like we have. Thank you to the owners and staff!
The mosquito’s live here. Be mindful, wear plenty of clothes when outside. Otherwise everything was very nice, friendly staff, Kids park, dog park, restrooms, separate private shower rooms. Our site was level. Just did an overnight. Many bites, still Grateful for this convenient and safe location. Would stay again.
Easy access from the interstate. At same exit as T/A so we could efficiently fuel and camp at the same exit. Arrived on a Sunday. Friendly staff showed up on time, checked us in and gave us detailed directions to our site. Wifi was good, but as more people showed up it slowed down a bit. The place was pretty much packed when we called it a night. I'm glad we made that reservation. They have little cabins too, for folks without an RV. No pool or fancy amenities its a KOA Journeybut you can order pizza when you check in and it will be delivered by the time you are set up!
We stopped here for the night. Check-in was easy, and they email you prior to your stay so you are kept informed. The staff was really nice. It is a gravel drive, and sites are also gravel. There is a green area where your picnic table is located. Bathrooms are really clean. They have a splash pad for the kids and a nice play area. There is a nice pet area as well. The tent sites are very nice. The location is right off the frontage road, and the highway noise is loud. There are apartments that back up to the campground by the tent sites. The RV sites are nice, and you have plenty of room for your slides. We had a Pull Thru site and we only used the electric. The campground is very quiet. This was a great stop, and we will stop here again.
It's an ok park. All gravel. No shade, playground area is very small. Dog area is very small. It is right on a busy highway. The bathrooms were pretty dirty during our 1 night stay. Our site was also very unlevel. It's fine for an overnight stay.Rooms: 3/5
