I had a doctor's appointment at 9 o'clock in the morning on a Monday it's now here wednesday I had X rays done the doctor said she will let me know the results I still haven't heard anything and on top of all this i have a prescription which I still have not received.
At one time because I like my Primary Care MD I would say I liked the care received here. Now...you are simply a copay. I believe that Baystate as a company expects them to see too many patients in one day.
I love this practice. I see Theresa Lind, APRN, who is amazing. She listen, she cares, and she gives me the time I need. I also see Andrew Fay, MD. He's wonderful as well.
If I could give one word for my last experience with this office it would be ‘extortion’. I was originally told I wouldn’t need an appointment to get a non-emergency referral but of course they lied. Now they are trying to get more money out of me. If you want to quality service and not be treated as a cash cow, DO NOT COME HERE
I was seen by a P.A. on2/4/20 for a sinus infection.She recommended amoxicillin and nasacort and asked me if I still used Big Y pharmacy in South Hadley to which I replied yes. I arrived at Big Y an hour and a half later to find no prescription! I then called South Hadley Adult Medicine SHAM prescription line and they assured me the prescription was on it's way. I then got a call from my mail order pharmacy in Texas where they had sent the prescription! I then called SHAM with this info. and they assured me my prescription was being taken care of..When it still had'nt arrived after 4pm I called SHAM again, and they assured me it was being put on the urgent list. The following day I called and screamed at someone and the prescription got sent in.
A business driven by productivity and not care
Called to just RESCHEDULE an appointment a week in advance mind you and the woman working for physical therapy scheduling was the most rude woman I've ever dealt with. She can't be a people person? Maybe she shouldn't work with the public.
