Very peaceful, albeit small state park. Stayed in the loop on the hill with 50amp full hook up. No trails for hiking but the small lake is perfect for fishing, kayaking, or swimming. Park has a nice playground for the kids. Staff are helpful and friendly. I would stay again.
Cute, simple, open cabin with restroom, fireplace, and small kitchen no sink or stove. The table is a wooden picnic table, and it had two twin sized beds. Bring your own linens and kitchen utensils. It's camping but in a building instead of a tent, with electric. We loved it, it was perfect . Playground: Giant old school metal playground , swings, Teter-totter, mary-go-round Restrooms: A shower and small sink. No where to hang up anything Picnic area: Concrete picnic table with fire pit in front of cabin. Mini fridge and microwave inside but no stove, no sink for dishes.
Had a great time with my family. Very clean . Everyone we talked to was very nice.
Hidden gem. Not a rec lake for big boats, but a perfect camp n fish getaway. Well taken care of. Excellent rv spots, tent camping, and nice cabins.
We had a great weekend. Campsite 18 which is across street from lake. Great view. Verizon wireless had 3 bars but could not deliver 1 meg bandwidth. ATT was better friendly staff. Very helpful. Don't bother hauling firewood. Talk to park staff they sell wood. Do this to prevent spread of wood destroying insects.
Nice place to come to and enjoy the family with, we stayed in one of the cabins and I must say that it was fun. The park is clean, had a swim area. The fishing was rough only caught three small fish, but saw big fish jumping all over. I will definitely be back to the park in the future.
Beautiful, but not quite as built out as the others in the area. There’s some work to be done, but it’s got potential.
Sigh, finally a park left CLEAN and pristine by its followers. It's a remote beautiful gem that sums up the majesty of southern Oklahoma in a few square miles. Go here and get lost in nature!
The great place to come I come down here and walk there's a playground for the kids I swim area fishing boat ramps family friendly
I have been going to this lake since I was a baby so thats 46 yesrs. Its very clean and I still love going to this day. Great little cabins to rent and the fishing is also great!
