This is a really well kept little park, with a couple of pavilions one nicely separated by an old slip and trees, a playground, an exercise round, and a small performance stage. It has a fishing walk on the slip, and plenty of covered space on the river proper, right off the parking area, making it easily accessible for those with mobility issues. While I have never attended, it seems like they do free movies and concerts over the summers, and have a nice grassy area before the stage that has a slight hill that would give those in the back a good view. If you want some quiet space near the water, this is a really nice place.
This is a nice local park in North Tonawanda right on the shore of the Niagara river. there is a large playground, picnic areas and a porta potty. There are two pavilions and fishing is allowed. we just made a quick stop here and I enjoyed watching the ice drift by on the river.
Nice park right on the water off River Road. The memorial area is worth a visit for sure! The park is in generally good condition although some areas are starting to show their age. The dock/boardwalk inlet area often clogs with debris espicially in the early spring. It tends to be taken outof service the fall of each year. I have seen people fishing here. No boat launch in this park are others available in the area.
Great place to picnic, walk around, and watch a concert. I am so thrilled to see so many green spaces in/around the community. Playground and pavilion was excellent too!
Good place to do a little fishing or catch a sunset
It was nice being close to the water had a playground for kids picnic tables n a stationary grill doesn't have stationary bathrooms but does have 2 portapottys. Picnic area: Spacious
A relatively serene park with playgrounds, tables and fishing opportunities. No permanent washroom facility.
Park has Pavillions ,ample parking, and is an excellent fishing spot. There are porta-pottys, but no actual restrooms Restrooms: They are porta-potty only
Beautiful views of the Niagara River and ample space under the well constructed pavilions make for a great day. Restrooms: Port-o-potties - the only thing lacking here. And I may be mistaken, because all of the events I’ve attended there have been in the same pavilion. Maybe I missed something ?
Park needs a little love - but it is strategically located on the bike path as well as on the creek with a very nice kayak launch
