Very unprofessional. I spoke to the wife, who is the scheduler, last week. And she said they might be able to come this week but would give me a call on Monday to confirm. So far, very professional. Then she called me all of a sudden today saying they had a cancellation and were in the neighborhood, asked me if they could come. I happened to be in another appointment with another roofer and let her know I would be available in 10 min. She then said she would follow up with me these two days. I called her a couple hours later to let her know my schedule these two days. Her attitude changed dramatically and said even if her husband had time to come out this week, they would not be able to do the work in the next 3 months. I asked her why she didn't let me know this piece of information when we first spoke a couple of days. She immediate got very defensive and said she signed so many jobs in just a couple of days and hung me up. I consulted other roofers like George Parks, Garry Fox and Stay Dry. They are much more professional.
I called them for bid to replace 3 damaged shingles on my roof of a house I was selling. They said $200 call out inspection fee but fee would be taken out of bill if i used them for the fix. That sounded reasonable since it was only 3 standard composition shingles which are inexpensive. Then they gave me quote if $1200 for the repair. I said you have got to be kidding? I ended up having repairs completed by another company for $150 total. They work out of their house with no true business address so I guess I should have known better. Oh ya and 'the wife' is a peach. She called me threatening legal action when she didnt send the bill to a good address after the house was sold. Then when I give her the proper address I get the bill and it had juvenile writing of 'notice of lien' warnings all over the outside of letter. Really? No one needs those prices and her drama.
I have used RCI Roofing on several of my clients homes and my own personal residence. Chuck Owner, know's how to treat his customers right. He's a good, hard working, trustworthy man who gets the job done, plus he stands by his work.
Did my roof a few years ago and they were great. Have recommended them to clients.
