I made an offer to purchase a house listed by REIN RE/MAX Peninsula. My agent contacted the sellers agent to ask questions about making an offer and when the house would be available. After my agent got all the information for MLS# 10207668 we viewed the house. After viewing the house we wanted to make an offer. My agent called the listing agent to asked when the seller would be willing to move out. The listing agent said 7-10 days for a cash offer. We made a genious cash offer, we offered the seller everything she wanted in cash and that the house would be available 7-10 days. She took 2 days to decide then said she accepted our offer. Mind you this was 2 days later, So we had already added 2 days to the 7-10 days before the house would be available for us to move in. Back to the seller saying she accepted the offer. She said she accepted the offer but wanted to stay in the house for 3 more weeks on top of the 7-10 days she already agreed to before we made the offer. My situation is this, I'm moving my family to the area; I came ahead to purchase a house before they come. The compliant is this, peoples time is very valuable. After everything is said and done my family and I could not get the house due to the added 3 week stipulation the seller threw back at us, Now we are headed back into the market to try and find a home with 5 days wasted do to the unprofesional conduct of the listing agent and the seller. I understand selling a house is up to he seller however, the listing agent or company should know their clients and if an agreement is made honor it. This agent and seller wasted a lot of hard working peoples time, money and resources. JLC
This company is one of the worst. I have dealt with. I was charged with items I already replaced when it came to moving out. They are the worst when comes down to communication. The realtor I dealt with was unprofessional when I had issues or concerns. This company also charged me what the previous tenants did as well. Highly recommend think twice before renting through them.
Only because 0 stars was not an option!! BUT, Make up Your own mind!! My Mother's house was on the market OVER A YEAR!! Bob showed this house 3 times in over a year, 2 times AFTER She died!! 1 time in 8 MONTHS!! But he sure wanted to drop the asking price after 2 weeks, and 3 more times within the first 6 months! Eventually the house was foreclosed on, turned into the reverse mortgage company 8 months AFTER She was Dead! He was recommended by one of my Mom's friends, I am NOT inclined to give the same recommendation to Any of this companies Agents!
We dealt with an agent named Cassie Bends at Re/Max Peninsula. She showed us a house we found on the internet that we wanted to buy. Once under contract she was fine for a week or two then repeatedly ignored phone calls, emails, and requests. She was unable to produce necessary documents for settlement, which she blamed on listing agent. Although it was her job to get them to settlement. We sat at a settlement table 3 times over 5 days until she got it right. Her ineptitude cost us nearly $1000 in additional moving fees and a great deal of stress. After all this drama she initially tried to blow off a request from the title company for a required document for 3rd scheduled settlement. However she did find time the day before the 3rd settlement to arbitrarily instruct the title company to add an additional $295 fee to the settlement sheet to be paid to Re/Max Peninsula from OUR funds. Needless to say we did not pay the illegal fee she treacherously tried to sneak onto the settlement sheet. Had she not done this we would have chalked it up to inexperience and moved on. It is obvious that Re/Max Peninsula is not supervising their agents --poor job.
Requested feedback on a house in Hampton va and never got any response., if feedback is seen still interested in home.
