"the institution’s programming focuses on exhibiting both new + recognized multidisciplinary works by emerging and established local + international artists, as well as commissioning site-specific works. dallas contemporary presents around eight rotating exhibitions a year in two annual cycles beginning in january and september. such presentations are further enhanced by the institution’s sprawling industrial building, providing a wholly unique context for each individual exhibition. In doing so, it follows the european model of a european kunsthalle, or art hall, a welcoming exhibition site for art of the moment."

Beautiful space with art so thoughtfully displayed. This would be a great date spot! We went with a small group, and it was easy to spread out since the space isn’t too huge. Admission is free, but make sure to book your tickets in advance. There is a free parking lot connected to the museum and another free lot directly adjacent to the museum.

Excellent exhibits and wonderful staff - very gracious kind and knowledgeable. Great place to get inspired.

Amazing gallery with rotating collections. They are having a day/night series right now that has pop up shops where you can get books, local art or even adopt puppies! One of my favorite galleries in Dallas.  I'll post a few pictures but you should really go check it out yourself since it is technically free but be sure to make a donation when you come.

It’s free, but upon entering you have to register online for a “ticket”. Name & email are required. For an art gallery, it’s just too strange for me. I really hate giving out my email. Such a fun experience! If you love art and want a more modern or fun style I would absolutely recommend this place!! Very calm atmosphere and not overly crowded like some other places!

Absolutely love coming to the Dallas Contemporary Museum! This museum always steals my heart with its fashion exhibits and unique art! The phenomenal simplicity aesthetic completes every exhibition to the max!!! I’m always excited to see a new exhibit at this location in Dallas!

Art is in the eye of the beholder and the exhibitions at this museum showcase that so well. Art should be accessible and this museum does a good job of make sure of it. The exhibitions were very intriguing and I made it a point to read every description. It’s free to enter but I highly recommended donating museum recommends $5  using a card or cash. The greeter at the door was very knowledgeable and willing to answer any question. I will definitely be back to check out the next exhibits.
