Ultimately, learning is an individual effort
and each student has different goals and needs. We design a learning and instructional plan to help students reach their language goals in a format of their choice.
All new students complete a placement test to evaluate their understanding of American English and determine their appropriate class level.
Periodic assessments are conducted to evaluate student progress and identify areas where perhaps additional instruction is required to master the content, or in other cases, to advance a student to another class level. Overall our goal is to facilitate individual achievement and performance.
The READ Institute is a high quality, well organized extension to the traditional school curriculum offering an array of exciting academic and enrichment opportunities. The programs are designed to build confidence by enhancing students’ academic and personal successes through achievement. We work toward an integrated inter-disciplinary curriculum that reaches across grades 3-12 and age levels. Students are encouraged to meet academic challenges with openness and a willingness to solve problems.
