Had a great meal for our first visit. Service was great also. We will be back.
I had this place on my radar for quite some time because it seemed to have a quaint atmosphere and the food looked and sounded amazing. They certainly did not disappoint, we had their crab cake, a homemade pasta dish, the avocado salad... which was amazing and definitely worth the up charge. Everything was exceptional. We were immediately greeted as we walk through the door and had our seat within a minute and service was excellent . My only complaint was that each glass of wine was charged at $14 a piece which seems a bit high for house wine. We would definitely return thought.
Great experience with wonderful food and an attentive staff. The menu isn't large, but that lends to excellent choices. Had the salmon, a d it was by far some of the best I've had in a while. Price is on the high side for the area, but you definitely get what you pay for. $60 per person with shared appetizers, drinks, entree, and dessert before gratuity.
Where do I start? My husband and I decided to host our companies dinner party here. The owners could not have been more prepared and professional from the planning to the last dish collected from dessert. Their meticulous attention to the authenticity, presentation, and quality of food was impeccable. The staff was more than accommodating and always prompt at serving drinks and food, paying close attention to each person’s individual needs. And we all know this would not be possible without the leadership, direction and training of the owners. The dedication and passion they have for this restaurant and truly giving each table a wonderful experience is definitely evident. The atmosphere is one of welcoming, warm, and comforting ambience. We will be back,as well as, many many of the people that came for the first time at our dinner. Thank you Reba and Ponchos!
Fantastic healthy food today for lunch for a very good price.. A previous dinner experience however was shadowed by a ridiculous high price of 160 Dollar for 2 people including wine and appetizers. While the dinner experience is just too expensive to enjoy and repeat, the lunch experience was very pleasant.
Decent food. Much better than many other places in the area. However, $30-32 for decent not excellent entrees served in a SUPER casual-looking dining space creates mixed feelings, especially when no smile is offered by the front staff upon entering the restaurant or even a “good bye” or “have a good night” when leaving. None of the SIX staff members present at the front of the house even noticed us leaving. Not very welcoming. Ambivalent about returning - food is good, compared to what most places in the area are serving, but overpriced for the experience $110 dinner for 2 ppl.
This is the BEST area restaurant. You can't beat the food, it is fabulous. There is not a restaurant that rivals this place. The food is carefully choosen, wild caught fish like coho salmon, Maryland crab, etc. If you order beef, it will be tender and cooked to order, if you order med-rare, it will be. The menu is always changing. I've eaten here for many years and have not once been disappointed. The only down fall is, it is noisy.
The food here was incredible! Glad there was a tasty vegetarian option. The food is plated with such excellence. Great place to go out with friends or to take your wife on a date. You will not be disappointed.
To say the least, this restaurant is one of the best around. I've been to a lot of restaurants in this area and none of them have stood out to me as Reba & Pancho's has. The food was great. The entree portion was a little small, so I do recommend buying a side or appetizers to go with your entree. But other than that, defintely worth it. I came here for Valentine's day with my girlfriend and we both loved the food. We ordered the Pork Gyoza, French Fries, Ravioli, the Veal shoulder and the Orleans cake I think that was the name, the one with layers. To start the pork gyoza wasn't bad, but it didn't stand out to me. But, the rest of the food did. The fries were amazing. The rosemary twist to them added this unique flavor, that you don't usually see that often in restaurants, that was delicious. Although the fries were way too salted, in my opinion. The veal shoulder was SO GOOD! The meat so soft and it was served in this perfect sauce with rosemary mashed potatoes at the bottom. I can say confidently that it was the best meal I've had in PA so far. My girlfriend enjoyed the ravioli immensely, although I cannot completely speak for her. And to finish our meal, the layered cake was very good. Pork Gyazo - 7/10 French Fries - 8/10, would be 10 if it had less salt Ravioli - 6/10 Veal shoulder - 10/10 Layered Cake - 7/10 All in all this restaurant surprised me. I didn't think I'd find such an amazing restaurant in the small town of Lewisburg. Although my date and I spent about $100 including tip, we feel strongly that it was worth it. If you're in the area, I would recommend trying this place out. We drove 30 minutes, but I'd easily drive more if I had to. To end this review, I wanted to just state that although this restaurant was very good, I personally wouldn't come here just to eat out. I would only come here for special occasions.
Food was decent but a bit pricey. We ordered two entrees, nothing else. No drinks, no appetizers and no dessert. With tax and tip we spent 55 bucks. Our entrees were the least expensive ones on the menu.
