Dr. Boardman is a San Francisco prosthodontist specializing in complex, aesthetically-crafted prosthetic work in a friendly and welcoming environment.
After getting her bachelors degree in Fine Art from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1986, Rebecca began designing, fabricating and selling jewelry to boutiques and museums internationally. Then a bumper sticker reminded her of her childhood dream of being a dentist. She promptly switched gears, and received her dental degree in 1997 from the University of California, San Francisco. After three additional years specialty-training in prosthodontics at UCSF, she was ready to start making jewelry in people’s mouths.
Dr. Boardman is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the San Francisco Dental Society, and the American College of Prosthodontists. She regularly attends continuing dental education courses and is a clinical faculty member at the UCSF School of Dentistry.
