Recreation and Wellness Services at Cal State East Bay provides ample opportunities for students, staff, and affiliates to participate in a wide range of recreational activities. Campus Recreation operates the Recreation and Wellness Center (RAW) and its diverse programs including fitness, personal training, intramural sports, gamezones, and open recreation.
The RAW features two stories and 55,000 sq. feet. The two-story fitness center features a large selection of both free weights and cardiovascular machines. The building hosts two basketball/volleyball courts and an indoor track. Men's and Women's locker rooms feature daily use lockers and showers. Bath towels may be checked out at the Equipment Rental Counter.
Members of the RAW can take advantage of a plethora of group fitness classes. Classes include Spinning, Yoga, Zumba, Boot Camp, TRX, AbBlast, Body Sculpt, and more!

Love playing sports? Join an Intramural Sports team! You can sign up to play against your fellow students in quarterly leagues such as basketball, soccer, flag football and volleyball. We also host a variety of tournaments to suit all of your interests.
Come visit the GameZone, located in the Old UU for a different type of recreation. The GameZone features XBOX360s and PS3s with a wide selection of games in the cozy confines of the GameCave. Or jump on one of our three billiards tables. We also have air hockey and a hoop fever basketball game!
