Huge park! Lots of space to run around and play. The playground is fairly small but gets the job done. Tennis and basketball courts, as well as a skate park for those inclined.
Huge park with easy parking. Playground area is not that big, but the large grassy fields are good for kids running around
Recreation Park is a 22 acre land with well kept grass, trees and facilities. It is located on E. Lemon avenue in Monrovia. This park is family oriented and it has so much amenities to offer such as barbecues, picnic tables and shelter, drinking fountains, kids playground, restrooms, baseball field, tennis 4 courts, hardcourt basketball, roller hockey, and skateboarding, and sand 2 volleyball court. In addition, this park offer a spectacular view of SG mountains. Plenty of parking within the park. Park goers were friendly and respectful. No homeless/sketchy people around the park which is good. Overall, this park is the largest in the city of Monrovia. I highly recommend this park to relax, unwind and play sports.
Playground is okay. Some parts are broken and have not been repaired. Tennis court and baseball field are nice. Trees for shade is always great at parks. Update: October 2,2021. Some idiots dumped soda on the slides. Sticky. Update: February 2022. Warm winter makes for a nice day at the park. Minor jacket requirement, but once the sun is out. Enjoy.
Monrovia Pony were a great host and quite a good team. I like playing here. The view of the San Gabriel mountains are beautiful. Good luck in your future games.
We had our first walk here with our puppy. Not a soul on site. Beautiful park for children and for picnics too. They have great basketball court and tennis courts. Great place to skate as well. Roller and skate board. Nice!
Always my favorite park
Nice clean park! My daughter has soccer lessons here and we love to take her to the playground.
Great park, tons of fun amenities, basketball, baseball, playgrounds for the kids, a YMCA in the park. Also the park hosts a lot of free events, Easter egg hunts, etc.
I was volunteering at the Heroes of Humanity Christmas Toy Giveaway Lunch.
