My name is Marti. I've been quilting for over ten years and sewing since I was 7. Quilting is part of my heritage. I can remember my great-grandma in her front room hand quilting on her long quilt rack. I am fortunate to still have many of her quilts and enjoy continuing her passion for quilting.
I decided to turn my passion for quilting and sewing into a small business in hopes to continue the tradition of quilting. I feel honored to be trusted with others quilts to finish and extend the art they have created. My goal is to "Preserve the Tradition for the Next Generation."
I use a Gammill Long Arm Quilting Machine with a SideSaddle computerized quilting system. With a 14 foot table, I can stitch anything including a king size quilt. Quilting with this state-of-the-art machine ensures that your quilts will be stitched to perfection and professionally with unmatched quality. I can provide both edge-to-edge patterns and hand-stitching such as stippling/meandering.

As a note of interest, my company was named for the Red Barn located on our farm that my husband and his father relocated from in town Blacksburg, VA to our farm 45 years ago. I feel that the Red Barn and farming symbolize our families history and heritage for both myself and my husband. This heritage we hope to pass on to our daughters.
