Red Bug Lake Park

Red Bug is a really great park. They have tons of areas dedicated to a certain sport, walkways that connect the whole park together, workout areas, and a great playground. I am glad they have 2 basketball courts because they get occupied fast on some days. If I could give it a 4.5/5 if I would, because the restrooms are not the best. Overall, a really nice office & park, I would recommend. Playground: They have a big playground. It features slides, climbing structures, obstacles, a zip-line, games, and benches. It's located by a lake & soccer field, so the energy is present. Restrooms: Use the restroom before going if you are a type of person that does not like using poor-quality "outdoor" bathrooms. Dog-friendliness: This park is dog-friendly. Picnic area: They have multiple pavilions - you can sit at one if it is not reserved.

Beautiful park, the playground is new and very well maintained. We rented a pavilion for a picnic and it was spot clean. Park personel blew the leaves off before we setup and where very helpful and cordial. Will definitely come me back ! Playground: Very well maintained. Great park. Clean and huge. Has awesome playground for all ages. Zip line, tennis, pavilions, soccer field, bathroom, and lots of parking.

This is one of my kids’ favorite playground to visit. Highlights: 1. Lots of climbing obstacle structures 2. Several slides of different heights 3. Large picnic pavilions for large groups and parties 4. Fitness equipments 5. 2 Sandy volleyball court 6. Tennis courts 7. Basketball courts 8. Soccer fields 9. Clean restrooms 10. Nice lake view with lots of water lilies 11. Shady benches Note: There’s a zip line but it’s not as smooth like the one at Cannery Park in St. Cloud. The restroom building is far from the children playground so when one little kid goes, parent has to take all the kids along. My 4YO son likes playing on the ground but encountered an ant hill hidden among the mulched playground area. He said he prefers the playground with artificial grass or rubber matted floor.

It seems like a nice place to have a picnic or just walk around the lake. You can also have birthday parties at the gazebos.

Great park! It is not a small one either. There are ball fields of many types, tennis courts outdoor workout areas, playgrounds, a zip line currently under repair some of the coolest swings I've ever used for parents with small kids so you do not have to get up from your own swing every 2 minutes. It has 2 seats, one for child and one for parent! Covered picnic areas with grills what a great place to hang for the day or the afternoon.

Very nice facilities my grandson loved it. You have something for everyone, all kinds of activities that you can do there at the park. I do recommend anybody looking for your children to either play sports or just go to the park just to have fun. This is the place to go. Playground: It is kept clean, and the playground equipment was well maintained. Restrooms: Did not use the restrooms while we were there. No comment on that. Picnic area: It was nice and shady good-sized tables. It is a very nice place to go to have a picnic.

Nice park with fishing , basketball, many tennis courts , beach volleyball and a zip line .

Pretty cool park. Softball leagues during week days. 2 volleyball courts, 2 basketball courts. Many tennis fields. Fishing allowed and a small trail. Would recommend.

Went there for a birthday party and my 3 yr old had a blast. Plenty of things to climb from. Really loved the zip line seat which had a line of kids. Noticed a bunch of soccer fields full of kids playing. Overall really nice park to enjoy if you are near by.
