Outstanding Halal Chinese restaurant under new ownership. Recently sold under new management with a fantastic new menu! The food is absolutely delicious and the Lamb Stew is on ! Go. The old menu is out of date. They do NOT serve Pork products under new ownership. Parking: Open and easy parking. Close to PGMA. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy Wheelchair access. Dietary restrictions: Halal meat. New Muslim owner. No pork products.
Everything was delicious, super fresh, with large portion size! Ordered general Tso and beef with broccoli and beef sambusa. Amazing and friendly customer service!! Definitely ordering again, happy to find good halal Chinese
Edit: one year later— We’ve ordered several times over the past year to support this local business and the quality of the food and value is now just horrible. Last Thursday we ordered beef lo mein and orange chicken. The food texture and taste were so off and frankly gross, as if it had been prepared earlier in the week and reheated when we ordered it. We had to throw it away because it was so gross and the chicken especially was spoiled. ********** Not the best value for money portions are a bit small but it’s so nice to finally have a halal Chinese option nearby!!
This food has a weird taste. Not like other carry outs it tastes like a weird oil they are using. Nothing tastes regular like a normal carry out. It tastes off and my food was cold. I ordered Singapore noodles and it was nasty. The steak and cheese was chopped up burger meat and had pickles. The fries were good but the potion was extra small.

I've been getting Chinese from Red Ginger for some years. This is my first time since they changed hands. I was not disappointed. Things are a bit different. No pork dishes Halal.... Added lamb dishes. I had shrimp dumplings. They were delicious. A good amount of ginger was easy to taste. 10/10 would get again. The Orange Chicken and the Sesame Shrimp were up to the standard I had come to expect which is to say, good. Same for the Crab Rangoon. Of course, I had to try something with lamb. I got a quart of lamb stew. Delicious. I aim to explore the lamb offerings over time. New management; still really good.
Absolutely disappointed, should have gone with my 1st mind when I walked in the the place,had food this past Friday was not fresh and very hard. Egg roll was a steak egg roll not traditional Chinese egg roll. Later that evening got sick, stomach pains for few more days come Wednesday ended up in hospital with severe food poisoning. This was last place I ate out from & will never go back.
Their general tsos chicken was soo good and I became a regular customer. Also, tried their shrimp lo mein. It was good too. Overall they deserve the 5 star for their price, taste of delicious food and friendly service.
I used to love the food of this place but now it Taste weird not the same as before
