Got all 4 of my wisdom teeth out with IV sedation through Dr. Walther and it was so much better than expected. I am experiencing minimal pain post-op and it was pretty enjoyable. He is a very laid-back and fun individual who loves to educate his patients on what their operation will be like. The staff are always happy to answer questions and are respectful and cordial as well. Their office is also very clean and organized. Definitely recommend him if you need your wisdom teeth out!

What a horrible experience! We paid nearly $200 consultation fee and were refused treatment. Our wonderful dentist referred us there for our granddaughter's wisdom teeth removal. At our consultation appointment, we were given an appointment for extraction and we were told by the Office Manager that we needed a notarized consent form from her parent. We provided not just one parent's notarized consent, but both. After providing the requested documents, I called multiple times to confirm our appointment and got the run around, Doctor out. Doctor in surgery.... etc. Right before 5 p.m. on the day before surgery was scheduled to be done, I received a call from the Office Manager that our documents were not accepted. I would not recommend this unprofessional practice to anyone.

Dr Walther and his staff took such great care of my son with the removal of his wisdom teeth. My son had no problems afterwards and virtually no pain. Dr Walther and the office staff was so pleasant to work with throughout this process. They seemed to really care about their patients. I can’t say enough good things about this experience.

My son is a college student at FSU had 4 wisdom teeth extracted this morning by Dr. Joy. I was very worried, since I could not be there with him. I had so many questions and both Buffy and Alexis were so patient with me, easing my fears, and giving us all the options as well as their advice. They returned all my calls promptly and never made me feel rushed with all their help. My son drove himself to his appointment. Everything was on time. Dr. Joy was fantastic throughout the entire process. My son opted for the laughing gas instead of the IV anesthesia so he could drive himself home. He said he didn’t feel the affect of the laughing gas but the local anesthetic was enough that he felt no pain. Everything was done within an hour and my son felt fine to drive home. Thank you so much Dr Joy, Buffy and Alexis for taking such great care of my son. We are very happy with the whole process.

Dr.Russell walther is a tremendous dentist. Had my bottom two wisdom teeth removed, and I had chose to be put under sedation. The whole experience didn't last maybe 15 mins and I was done. Believe it or not but only used one pain pill, just as a precautionary for post surgery.  But really the ibuprofen is doing good. But overall no pain. Thank you so much Dr.Russell.

I had my top wisdom teeth extracted two wisdom on both sides and one molar on both sides. Total of six on 3/9/23. I was extremely nervous about getting teeth extracted waited for about a year and a half due to anxiety and being put on IV sedation hate needles. However, the process was wonderful and the pain was minimal stay on your prescribed medication. Dr. Joy did an outstanding job reassuring me and the nurse that was on my surgery. The next seven days you will most definitely have a love hate relationship for Apple Sauce, Mashed Potatoes, Grits, and Yogurt I am ready to eat a cow lol. Nevertheless, 10/10 highly recommended!

Very welcoming and accomodating staff. A good start.  The clinic is really practicing safety standard procedure for Covid. Taking your temperature, Covid questionaires guidelines And they even ask you wash your hands upon entering ! 5 stars for that!

Wouldn't accept emergency referral from well known and respected doctor in the community. Red Hills put up as much red tape as they could to keep me out of there.  Meanwhile I'm laid up desperately searching for an oral surgeon who can get me in soon and remove some teeth for me. Had to hospitalized due to this infection. The dental community is so saddening. I hope there is somewhere out there that can help me.

I have to agree with similar reviews before me, this place is amazing! The facility is so clean and beautiful, ALL of the staff are so nice and answer all of your questions and do whatever they need to to make you feel comfortable. I called and got a consultation within days after experiencing bad jaw pain/ear aches and was scheduled for surgery quickly as well. As someone without dental insurance too, their pricing is very reasonable and affordable. I loved my experience here and should I ever need oral surgery again I know where I’ll go. Dr. Joy did a wonderful job with my wisdom teeth and although it’s still day 1, I have had no pain all day before even taking medication. Thank you Dr. Joy and the team at Red Hills Oral and Facial surgery!
