Such a nice park to enjoy a walk in! It was very clean and there was plenty to see! I went in the morning and it was not overly busy. I enjoyed seeing all the turtles in the water and they would swim right up to the bridge so you could see them. There were also lots of different birds wandering about. There were plenty of areas to sit and take a break to enjoy the scenery. It was also hard to believe that busy highways were so close by, I hardly noticed the noise at all. Can't wait to take another walk here.
Absolutely love walking here! Cute turtles, no gators around and most importantly NO bikes or scooters that almost run over my dogs!!
Beautiful place to walk around near the water, especially at sunset. My wife and I enjoy coming here.
Absolutely love this park. Can do laps around the little lake and it doesn't even seem like you're walking that much because of all the beauty. Plenty of fit people running and exercising so great for that. Also quiet enough to just clear your mind. Turtles ducks and fish in the water plus there's a beautiful sculpture that I couldn't stop looking at. Public bathrooms here too with plenty of places to eat around it that you can walk to.
I had the pleasure of discovering Cranes Roost Park in Altamonte Springs, and it was a delightful surprise. This park is a familiar spot for locals to enjoy a leisurely stroll or to relax on one of the benches nestled under the shade of the trees. What's more, part of the trail runs over the lake, offering stunning views and ample opportunities for taking breathtaking pictures. There's also a notable landmark in the distance that's hard to miss: the Majesty Building. Despite its impressive size, locals have given it the nickname 'I4 eyesore,' and you can find plenty of amusing memes and stories about it online.
A beautiful park. So much space. Plenty of area fir picnics. There’s also a walking trail that takes you not only around the lake but across parts of it. There’s shaded areas, and lots of benches. Plenty of things to look at. The grounds are maintained. We saw one piece of trash, probably escaped from a picnic. Also on certain parts of the walk you can hear music. It’s a great way to spend a morning or afternoon.
I discovered this beautiful, peaceful, clean park by chance while driving through this road to get to the AMC cinema. POV: I would say it will be the most wonderful park in Orlando. Pay a visit when you have a chance
Great place for daily walks. Beautiful. Area for kids to run around and play
Entrance and aesthetics are carefully curated for a well-heeled experience. A delightful treat, even eye candy. An event was taking place and there was still room for more. Cranes Roost Park #LetsGuide Altamonte Springs
A morning walk or an evening stroll on a boardwalk 1-mile loop surrounding the lake offers picturesque views of Uptown Altamonte. The unique venue hosts exciting community and holiday events with a display of beautiful decorations across the park throughout the year. The lake is home to lots of turtles, cranes, and fish. It’s a well-maintained park with an open amphitheater, benches, and public restrooms.
