We went to Red Rocks Cafe to celebrate my stepson’s birthday. There were eight of us. We had reservations and our table was ready upon arrival. Our server was awesome. His name was Sherrod, forgive me for the spelling. He was very attentive and answered all questions without hesitation. The food was delicious. I have to say the potato cakes are very addicting. Our main dishes were delicious. There are a variety of dishes so you can find something that appeals to you easily. We had a great time and everyone was satisfied.
Just average. Not impressed at all. Very loud. I ordered a drink and it came 30 minutes later The shrimp appetizer is missing something like lettuce or something to spruce up the plate. It Looks like shrimp just thrown in a bowl with sauce on it. Maybe I’ll try the brunch that’s what others recommends anyway
The worst brunch I ever had. I would love to have my money back. The service was good. Our waiter Sophia was very nice. But the food was not worth $16.00 I got the breakfast plate. It comes with hash browns, eggs, toast and bacon. The hash browns were over seasoned, mine were super salty. The bread was plain with no butter on it. The eggs was a small portion, the bacon was dry and to crispy. And my mimosa wasn’t great. The plate doesn’t look that great to me. I’m very disappointed. I guess it’s better for lunch/dinner ?
Beautiful restaurant and atmosphere. You pay for what you get basically. I took my daughter for her bday a few days ago. She got a Michael Ransom's Chicken wraps & I had a Jenny Durst's Penna Pasta. For drinks we had Della Stafford Mimosas. I love the drinks because for once I find a place they make the mimosas good. The only reason why I'm giving it a 4 is because the napkin the waiter placed on the table fell on the floor and placed it back at the table. Definitely not sanitized.
We made reservations and requested to sit outside. Our server had a great personality, and our food came out as ordered. Drinks were delivered a little slowly . We ordered: 1. Ron Ron's - these were on the smaller side. The breading was light, and the sauce had great flavors. 5/5 2. Buffalo Calmari - the breading and buffalo sauce were delicious. Parts of the calarmari were slightly chewy. 4.5/5 3. Sesame Tuna - the SO had this and enjoyed it. He ordered rare. 5/5 4. Salmon - my friend ordered, and she said it was delicious. 5/5 5. - My friend ordered, and he said it was ok. 4/5 6. Almond Mahi - this is a goto dish for our friends who frequent often. I thought the Mahi was perfectly cooked, and the rice with asparagus was delicious. The sauce was a little on the sweet side. 4.7/5 7. Old Fashioned - this was good, but I don't think it was fully mixed. The alcohol sat at the top. 4/5 8. Margaritas- the SO ordered and enjoyed. 5/5 9. Mojito - this was delicious, slightly on the sweet side. 5/5 10. Mule - my friend ordered two and 5/5 11. Whisky Sour - my friend ordered and enjoyed. 5/5 Would recommend to anyone in the area. Great foods and drinks .
I went to lunch at the Red Rocks Cafe in Birkdale Village for the first time. I was with a large party, and we had a great server named Maverick. I ordered a burger and fries that I really enjoyed. They have a very diverse menu, and I look forward to coming back to try other options on their menu.Food: 5/5
I was planning a baby shower for my daughter and tried several places in the area that could not accommodate my group of 16 people. I finally visited Red Rock’s in Birkdale thinking this would be another negative experience but to my surprise, it was not. From the first meeting with Allie to the end of my event, she deserves 5 stars on everything from putting my mind at ease to and including all the extras that I wasn’t expecting. And to add more positivity to this event, having Sharrod as our server just added a special touch to the entire event! The room was perfect plus drinks, apps, food & dessert were wonderful! Thank goodness I struck out at the other places. Take my advice and save yourself time & energy: look no further than Red Rocks!!
Food was subpar. Salad was old and brown, tuna served raw on top of salad, had to send it back, still had no flavor. Very disappointing experience. Drinks were mediocre too sweet.Food: 2/5
My wife and I visited for the very first time for our wedding anniversary. We made reservations ahead of time. We called that we were running a few minutes late. We arrived almost fifteen minutes late and they STILL seated my wife and I as soon as we walked in. They treated us like we were VIP. The server was really amicable and professional. The Filet came out absolutely AMAZING! It was cooked to the right generator it I asked. It was so tender it melted in your mouth. The only thing that had much to be desired was the spinach dip. It wasn't bad but it could be better, and they don't patronize to military. Overall we had an AMAZING time. They even wrote Happy Anniversary on our desert. Kudos to the staff for making our special day special.
I want to start off by talking about the negatives. The Caesar salad was awful. There was definitely no anchovies and it almost tasted like water and vinegar for the salad dressing. Not impressed. The service was okay, not very personable just seemed like he was doing what it took to get by. My friend said his steak and coconut shrimp was excellent. He said his medium rare was cooked to perfection. I had the lobster ravioli. I was impressed by the amount you got. I have had better but for NC this has been my best experience with this dish. The cake was so so. It was better the first time I came and had dessert and drinks. Overall not worth the price.
