Established in 1990.
Mickey started her nail business by going into clients homes. This then grew from word of mouth in surrounding towns and communities. The outcome of all her handwork allowed her to create a FULL service salon with a minimum of 48 employees. It became so popular that it was standing room only at times. Mickey was successful for many years. In early 2011 she founded Red Like Polish Salon which is an innovated beauty bar servicing in all beauty and spa services. This salon is a unique one service based space of serenity.

Mickey was awesome and super personable! First time here and I was offered tea while getting my mani pedi. $12 to get old polish removed. Very cute smaller nail salon. Stays busy. Plan ahead for your appointment. Good music such as Fleetwood Mac playing in the background. Will come back.

I loved getting my nails done here. Mickey took her time with them and was very friendly. She did a great job and I will be sure to be back soon.

Nikki was so sweet! I’ve been doing dip nails and she did acrylic on me. FANTASTIC!!!! I will only go to her from now on. She does such a nice job and welcoming and so clean

Recently went in for lashes the tech was amazing and this is something I'm really picky about! Great conversation and overall setting! I will be back to see her again soon and definitely plan on trying other services they offer

Found this little gem recently and so glad I did! Went there and got the full works facial, lashes, and nails! The owner Mickey was so pleasant and have no complaints in regards to my services definitely recommend ....I will be back 100%!!!!

I found this salon via Groupon and drove from Gurnee to try out their lash extension service. I made my appointment and then unfortunately had to cancel. They were gracious and understanding. When I called back, 2 weeks later, to reschedule the owner recognized my voice! That instantly made me feel valued. I had my lashes done today and not only was the technician, Felisha, quick and precise, she also helped me choose the correct fullness, length and curl to get the look I was going for. AND she was fun! It was incredibly relaxing and she would have let me sleep through the service, but followed my lead and chatted with me throughout. I also had to leave my phone on due to a family situation and every time it rang she was sweet enough to check it for me since I had to keep my eyes closed in the event it was a call I had to take. Above and beyond. I left thrilled with my results AND feeling like I'd made a new friend! Even though the salon is an hour drive from me, I'm going back. I made sure to schedule my next appointment before I left. I'm one of those people who speaks up when service is lacking AND when service is exceptional, and this exceptional service deserved a review. Go check them out ladies!!! I love coming here! It’s my favorite time to just relax while getting my lashes done. Really lovin the new lash tech as well!

Honestly if you are going to be SO RUDE about having a Groupon, maybe don’t offer them? I do NOT recommend this business, Mickey was beyond rude & unprofessional and judging by her employee’s facial expressions- they are used to her being AWFUL. She would not honor the Groupon. Will not be back.

They did a great job on my daughter's nails. Very pleasant and courteous service. Great deal on Groupon.

I don't like talking down personally-owned businesses, but I did not have the best experience and I believe my personality did not mesh with my nail tech.  *Also note that if Groupon is doing any sale on this salon, they ask you how much you paid and will not take less than a certain amount. I understand that, but it was a blindside because you'd already have an appointment and be in the chair when they drop it on you.They need to advise this ahead of time, maybe even in the Groupon description, because they will have sales on the site and some people automatically get a student discount.*  She would occasionally bump into my fingers which would mess up the paint and then tell me I needed to stop messing them up, even though I watched her do it. Fuzzies kept getting in my polish, but she couldn't see them. She was a bit hard to speak up to, so I gave up trying. Also, one of my acrylics fell off after 4 days of light wear, and my friend that came with me was not very happy with the manicure they got, as it was a bit messed up as well.
