Red Lobster

This is my favorite location because I am nearby all of the time. The food is always satisfying. My only complaint during this visit is that I was not given the option to pay to adjust my platter so that the plain shrimp could be switched out for the dragon shrimp. Seems like it should have been an easy substitution and I was more than willing to pay the difference.

This was our first time at the Aurora, IL location and needless to say our experience was exceptional thanks to our server Greg. Greg was very friendly and made us feel right at home. He was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. When I asked for some lemons he served them to me immediately. Our food was excellent and our order was 100% correct. Greg made an amazing Blue Dream Sangria with gold sparkly glitter. Not only was it neat to look at but it tasted phenomenal! I was so impressed that I took a picture of it and shared it on Facebook. When checking out on the kiosk Greg walked me through the steps for a fast efficient check out. He thanked us and waved goodbye as we walked out. It was my birthday and thanks to Greg it was a great way to end a perfect day!

We came here at 6pm and immediately got seated and placed an order. However an hour later we did not get any food served. We just finished our trip and arrived here and just want to get our food quickly. They just kept saying the food is coming But nothing has been served. Finally when we told them we need to leave, they agreed immediately without saying anything else. Apparently they did not even start cooking! If you don't want to serve the food on time you don't need to open. You can just sell the restaurant to someone who wants to handle it.

Haven't been here in some years! Had the 20$ endless shrimp special food was served hot each time it was served shrimp had the 10$ spicy margarita all was good the cheddar bay biscuits was still good! Server was new hire you could tell but overall my guest and I enjoyed!

30 minutes wait for the waiter to greet us. Another 30 minutes for a bottle of wine that he didn’t even bother to open it and our food took over an hour. When we got the food our kids order was wrong it was a simple buttered noodles and ours was clearly microwaved plates hotter than the food. At the end, I ordered a dessert because I had a free one from the red lobster app. As he brought the bill the waiter told me that he wouldn’t charge me for my already free dessert and that I could keep my reward for another time and he would tell management that I never got the dessert. Trying to be the hero of the night. To put a cherry on top of all this, my wife got food poisoning from the microwaved shrimp.

Atmosphere & food, drinks were great but service was lacking. Seemed impersonal, somewhat slow in collecting all the plates and we have received more personal service in less expensive restaurants. No offer of refills were made either.Food: 5/5

Our favorite go to place!…I wish if they could add some new stuff to the menu like a weekly new dish or like weekly “specials”! Amazing seafood! Especially the nacho lobster dip!

We came here many times in the past and this occasion was no different as we arrived mid-day before lunch time in order to avoid the crowds: - the server was friendly and took us to a table near the window - drinks arrived fast and then our meals which of course, we could not finish so both drinks and meal pack came with us home Altogether this is great value, that is why we always to this chain whenever we come across it in N America.

Of course Red Lobster is a great place. The manager was AWESOME, as well as our server. It's gotta be some kinda unsaid guideline for how much ice is just too much, for alcoholic beverages. This is why I rated it a 1 and my food wasn't right! Raw stuffed mushrooms! The veggie appetizer was supposed to be fully cooked! My Clam chowder was still in the grit from the clam. So I couldn't take the chance on the encore. They were very nice though, no issues at all for professionalism.

Came to enjoy with the family the endless shrimp, long short story you need to come with 8 hours free time to get 3 refills with 4 shrimps each refill. We ended up leaving totally annoyed to never return.
