The Red Oak Iowa Police Reserves is a subsidiary of the Red Oak Police Department. The Reserves consist of approximately 10 state of Iowa Certified Reserve Officers that have successfully completed training set forth by the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy as directed by section 80D in the Iowa Code.
Reserve Officers for the Red Oak Police Department are employed by the City of Red Oak.
The Purpose of the Red Oak Iowa Police Reserves is to assist the department with community relations and assist in regular police functions within the department and provide support to surrounding law enforcement agencies.
