Came to Missoula Red Robin 7/7:30pm on 3-19-22 The server was great. Was a very busy place at that time. But the staff was doing their best! We had a 15-20 minute wait. All in all it was good. I ordered the cheesy Bacon fondue burger. The cheese sauce should have been filled more. Also the server should not have brought my burger out and stated “We are waiting for the Cheese Sauce to finish in the Microwave” yikes. Quite the turn off.
I like this place a lot, 4 is fun atmosphere and consistently good food. The staff for the most part is always attentive and good. They tend to have a fast turn over though so you never see the same person twice. I also think compared to other chain hamburger joints that the price is good as well.
Delicious appetizers and burgers to eat for the whole family while playing eye spy with all the great art work on the walls. Fast and friendly staff makes this a perfect place for lunch or dinner after shopping in the attached mall.
My waitress. Monika was spot on. She knew details and asked all the right questions to make my order perfect for me. The food was hot and tasty. The fries perfect as always. Unfortunately this is a franchise store so a lot of the normal perks you could have are not available without paying and extra fee. I love Red Robin but this extra charge will probably not have me come back. I will just have to wait until I visit a company store. Love the Southern charm with Campfire sauce & a peach iced tea.
When I lived in Missoula this place was great, but now I live four hours away. I've visited town three times in the last month for various reasons and have tried to get in to eat Dinner at Red Robin five times during those visits. I've been turned away every time due lack of staff, as early as 6:45 p.m., and been told that I can't get anything to-go. It's probably great if you can get in earlier, but I can't. The employees themselves are awesome and friendly, the food smells great, but management is always rude when they do come to the front to speak to customers. Other restaurants in town who pay better consistently have employees who show up. Maybe if Red Robin did the same they wouldn't have this issue. As it is now, I'm surprised they haven't closed this one down entirely.
My son took me out for an early birthday dinner after a full day of driving and tedious tasks. We were seated quickly by a very kind hostess. Our waitperson, Danny, was the best part of the entire experience! Very funny and gracious and attentive. As busy as the place was, Danny made us feel like royalty. Our food was very good too of course!, but the dining experience Danny delivered was truly top notch!!
The food was okay, but the service was lacking. Started out terrific, but as soon as we got our food it went downhill. Never got a refill on my drink even though I asked twice. Our server never glanced our way, and I had to ask the seating host to have her get our check after waiting for over 14 minutes. I understand that places are understaffed, but if you can't handle the amount of tables don't seat them. Red Robins have gone downhill over the last year. So much so I don't want to return.
No staff unfortunately. Went one evening they closed at 2. Went the next day, Hour+ wait after ordering when restaurant was nearly empty. Order was incorrect - wrong burger, but ate it and didn't complain. Staff that did show up were great, they didn't need the piling on...but also looked like they could use a busser. The place was dirty and a disaster. Will need to get their act together before going back. Understand the difficulty getting staff, but I would be working the floor if I owned the place.
The service was good, the food was sub par. The burger patties were overcooked. Pretty discouraging for a $94 meal for 4 people. For that kind of money we should have gotten much better food. We don't plan on ever trying it again.
So I have an absolutely garbage history with this chain restaurant I've been to a ton of these restaurants and it became a joke. I never got what I ordered or it wasn't cooked right or it was cold so when I hit up the Missoula branch my expectations were hovering just above food poisoning. These guys shocked me by 1 cooking my burger correctly and 2 giving me the burger I actually ordered. Way to go guys the Alaska, Texas, Nevada, Oklahoma, and New Mexico branches should send guys to you for training. Kid-friendliness: This place is always fun for my kids with their own kid friendly meals
