We stopped by to check out their Happy Hour Specials. The Margaritas were good and worth the $6. The appetizers, well honestly we could have done without. The nachos were a bit of a joke. There was a smattering of meat, if that. The pic of them shows exactly how they were served. The fries with mozzarella cheese and bacon, please don't get. The fries were soggy and the "bacon" really was something you'd scoop out of a jar. Overall, the quality of the food is what was disappointing, as well as the cleanliness of the bar area. I was watching the bartender take out the wine glasses to serve wine, and I can clearly see fingerprints and smudge marks on them. That's how they came off the shelf. There were flies..many of them landing g all over the rims of the glasses as well. Not a clean place. I will stop right there. I'm sorry Red Rock, I tried.
Went here while visiting my friend at UCONN it’s about 5 mins away. Extensive menu, great food and serving sizes for the money. We got chips and guacamole as a starter. I recommend the Chipotle Garlic Boneless Wings. We also tried the Honey Barbecue Boneless Wings.Recommended dishesBoneless Wings
This place is amazing! We are from RI & tried this place on a whim & we were not disappointed! The food tasted amazing & the portion sizes were decent! The service was great & every one was kind & friendly! On the out side it just looks like a nice pizza place but it's one of the best pizza places I've ever been to! We were a party of 14 & everyone had good things to say! I live almost 2 hours away but I will definately take a drive just to eat here again!! It's worth it!
Amazing food and friendly atmosphere. My wife and I highly recommend it.Food: 5/5
EDIT: To the wonderful owner, you honestly don’t take criticism very well huh you get so upset at every bad review. Boooo hooo your food sucks. You have a ton of bad reviews within the past year. Maybe try to improve rather than attack every bad review. Something is obviously wrong…I suppose you got lucky being open for over a decade. Must be those drunk college kids keeping you afloat. Honestly all these 5 stars must be friends and family.. this place is so disgusting. I live fairly close so we have tried this place over a handful of times.. I always try something new the burgers are disgusting soggy and meat taste rotten the chicken tenders are rubbery. This place can’t even serve good fries. They are skinny and always way over cooked with absolutely no taste. McDonald’s has better fries . Well tonight I got the fish sandwich and it’s the worst yet. The fish is way over cooked. Breading falling off. It doesn’t even taste like fish! It has no taste. They literally threw on old lettuce and tomatoes they were all shriveld up and gross. Never again! Y’all sell over priced frozen food. Do better!
came here with a few friends for an early dinner. it was dark and a little grungey inside, but seemed relatively clean - until we sat down. the menus were sticky and all 4 of us were overwhelmed by the amount of options there were. we ordered the mac and cheese bites for an appetizer and they were mediocre at best. they tasted exactly like velveeta which may be good if you enjoy velveeta, but personally i am not a fan. especially when i am out to eat. for my entree i ordered a buffalo chicken grinder, and i was immediately not appealed upon seeing it. from looking at it, it appeared to be mostly lettuce, but i was not upset about this as i just took a little bit of it off. i WAS upset, however or maybe slightly nauseated is a better word, about the several pieces of bone i chomped down on when i bit into the chicken. the first time i just spit it out and continued eating, but the second and third time was enough for me. i ended up removing the chicken and lettuce entirely and just eating cheese and buffalo sauce on a piece of bread. without the lettuce and chicken on it it actually wasn’t bad, but at this point i was a little grossed out from all the hard pieces i had bitten into, so i didn’t end up eating much more. to top off this sub par experience, when i turned on the water in the restroom to wash my hands after i went, the tiniest dribble of water came out of the faucet. it was barely enough to rinse the soap off my hands, let alone properly wash them. i do have to say, the service was good; we were seated immediately upon our arrival, our waitress was very attentive and sweet, and our food was out of the kitchen relatively quick. however, the service doesn’t mean much when the food is slightly sickening.
A great place for food! We've been visiting here a lot lately and each new meal is awesome!! Also great for family dinners or intimate meals just outside of the UConn campus. Definitely hidden gem in the "strip mall" spot it is in. Staff is amazing and attentive as well is the owner!
So I had stopped here for lunch after a client of mine recommended it to me and I have to say I'm extremely glad that I came. The food was delicious and my picture doesn't do It justice. So after getting my lunch I realized that I had locked my keys in my truck with it running I'm a goof so i came in and spoke with the wonderful waitress Kathy who was very polite and friendly and helpful. She let me take up a corner table and assured me that it would be ok and that it was better then waiting in the heat, she even offered me a ice water since it was so hot. The hospitality she showed me was amazing. My experience here is wonderful and I'll definitely be coming back. Thank you for hiring such wonderful people and please cherish the employees that go above and beyond like she did. Thank you Kathy.
I have had nothing but great experiences dining at Red Rock. The service is always friendly and fast and the food is great. The calzones are great, and the large calzone is enough to share or take home some leftovers for a very reasonable price. The boneless wings, which are quite large like chicken tenders, are great and I am personally a fan of the garlic parmesan wings.
I usually get the Cobb salad and it always delivers! Staff is very friendly. Have had other meals in the past that were good and have heard the wings are great.Food: 4/5
