Custom cakes & cupcakes
Melissa has been a professional chef, baker, and pastry chef since 2000. She attended The Art Institutes International Minnesota (Mpls) where she cultivated (and combined) her passion for art/creativity and food sciences.
While weddings are the main focus of Red Velvet Mel's, other specialty items are on the long list of Melissa's abilities: cheesecakes, birthday cakes, truffles, candied items (suckers/lollipops, etc), cookies, and other misc bakery/pastry items.
Red Velvet Mel's will go beyond what is required of a wedding cake baker: Melissa is honored to take the time to sit down with each bridal couple to go over their needs & requirements; she will figure out how to deliver not only what is expected, but what is wanted and dreamed of...
