I have been shopping at different redwings shoes stores for about 5 years and I have never had a bad experience. But THIS LOCATION gave me the best experience I have ever had at a redwings location. Actually, this was the best shopping experience I have ever had for clothing/shoes period. Adrian was actually trying to make sure I got the right shoes, with the right insoles and he even cut them for me so they would fit in the shoe perfectly. Super amazing guy. I never felt rushed and even though the store got super busy at one point, Adrian found the way to make me feel prioritized.
Today I went to buy boots for my husband like usual, once I got to the cash register I ask the employee Adrian if he can look up the type of boots that my husband uses. He find the boots and tell me they don’t have them in his size at their location but there is another red wings 30 minutes from there. I say okay and he gives me a post it note with their address. I go to the red wings @ Harwood heights which side note the lady who worked at that red wings was very cooperative and very respectful. Once I got there I told her my situation and she chuckled because it turned out the first red wings had the boots after all! The lady proceeded to call the store and explain that I was very unhappy with the situation because I drove 30 minutes for these boots just to find out he had them all along and it seems like he didn’t want to sell them to me. Adrian tells the lady that he had already sold them to someone and had them on hold for a customer but shortly after if it was a 10 or 10.5. Then he acuses this lady of being rude when in reality all she was trying to do is sort the situation and help me get my boots. She proceeds to tell him to have a nice day and hung up. This is not the first time last year I had I really bad service with him too. At the end I had to drive another 30 minutes to a different location to get the boots, it took us 2hrs to get this boots when in reality it should have taken 10 min because he had them all along. Never going back to this store !!!!!
I wore boots for a week. They were hurting my feet. Brought them in. Selected another style of boot. Swapped out. No issues. Save your receipt.
I had to upgrade on my work. It was a last-minute notification from my job and unfortunately I did not walk out anything but the on this particular Sunday 4-30-23 was very helpful and knowledgeable about the boots. Not only did she inform me which book was better for my needs she informed me about all the different warranties per brand. Her name was sharday at Red wings in Riverside Illinois thank you very much sharday you You didn't outstanding job and I like to say thank you. And I hope you get recognized for this review and I will be in again.
Great selection of boots and shoes that are high quality, stylish, and ready to do work. Very helpful staff, especially Adrian. Even had a sensor that quickly and effectively told me my shoe size. I didn't know about Red Wing before, but I will be going back.
Top notch service. Dude there really knows his products, is patient with the kids and handles multiple customers at a time.
So I wear a size 15 and they don't carry many boots in that size. Instead of going in the back and looking what they do have in that size they had me pick a boot after boot after boot after boot after boot to the point where I just left the store. Now they could have easily went in the back and looked one time for every kind that they had in a size 15 like the store in Orland did instead they wanted to go back each time with each boot which is a waste of time.
Get ready to save your old boots . I took my RedWing boots in for a repair and its been 2 months already and nothing yet . Red wing is turning my boots into Frankenstein , they dont have the original sole for my boot model which makes no sense so instead they are using an aftermarket sole …. Luckily I saved my old boots … I am very disappointed. This is the last pair I buy. One of the ladies that work here at the harlem location is very rude too im surprised shes still there .
I was away from home working. My red wings completely busted out both shoes. The lady was so helpful and kind. Great job
Informative. Exceptional. Not pushy Jennifer, the sales associate was Very helpful. I’m going to send my entire crew for new boots and insoles
