Dr. Alami moved to the beautiful town of St Augustine in 2008 after completing his residency at Michigan State University. The appeal of the sea, sun and sand brought him to St Augustine but the expanding, diverse population with a small town manner is what kept him here. Although no snow is definitely a plus!
Dr. Alami had the great honor of continuing care for the patients of the highly respected and well known retiring OBGYN, Dr. Juan Larroude. Since opening his own practice at the Flagler Hospital Campus he strives to continue this tradition of excellent care for women in this area.
Dr. Alami specializes in all aspects of general Obstetrics and Gynecology, with a special interest in minimally invasive pelvic and urological procedures.
In 2007, Dr. Alami earned a research award in the category of Obstetrics and Gynecology along with receiving a second award in the category of oral presentation in case research that same year.
Dr. Alami is proud to have long time St Augustine Certified Nurse Midwife, Gloria Lelaidier to be part of his team. Together, they look forward to providing total women’s health care needs.
