I love this launching dock, up to 7 Boats can launch or pick up at once. I feel real safe leaving my truck and trailer there, the inspector is there till 5: 00pm, and the Sheriff patrols the area regularly. There's even a dock to fish off of. Dog-friendliness: The park is dog friendly. Picnic area: They have a few areas to picnic or just hang out and enjoy the view.
Austin park is a great place for kids ,dogs, all kinds of space to play bbq ect..
I mean it's a park. No, seriously though this park has always been well kept as far back as I remember. Great views, trees, animals. Again ya know, a park.
I just stopped here to view the lake. All of the algae In the Lake gave the area a funny smell. Picnic area: They had a nice picnic area here with tables.
It’s a nice little park. There are some picnic tables. Area for some family fun. But really enjoyed the time on the floating dock and the pier for fishing. There is plenty of parking for all. But for my family and I we had a good time out there trying to catch some bass and catfish out on the pier. We did have more bits at sunset then in the afternoon. No matter what had good family fun.
We love fishing for catfish here. Just use bathrooms elsewhere. These are horrible.
Nice place to take bird photos. accessible parking, can take a wheelchair on the dock. Not a fan of this lady that is always there, asking for 5-7$ very specific but other than that it's a nice place to sit for a bit. Restrooms: Wouldn't use unless absolutely necessary. Picnic area: Not many seating areas.
The Lake is so beautiful catching the Sunset is breathless! There's boat launches where I've watched jet skis tubers & fishers go out thru the evening It's clean with scattered park picnic tables n benches I've taken a multitude of happy people & sunset pictures & have spent hrs drawing & painting focal points
It's mostly a good area for fishing and boating as there is multiple boat ramps and flushing bathroom. There's transient's sometimes so be sure to lock your vehicle plenty of trees for shade to have lunch as well, over all it's a nice spotPlayground: NoPublic restrooms: YesOff-leash dog area: NoPicnic tables: YesBarbecue grills: No
