Today we went to this park, we like it a lot, you have a tennis, pickeball and baseball court, there is only 1 large pavilion in front of the shady courts. The play area has no shade so in summer it is very hot, if you plan to go either early or after 7pm! The tables to eat are near the public restroom, there are trees around but they don't provide complete shade and there are about 5 picnic tables there are a couple more tables in front of the games, so if you go with small children don't They will serve you to eat and watch your children, since you do not have good visibility of the games. Something very annoying is that you can see how little care the park is currently in, there was a lot of garbage, the public toilets were dirty and with a bad smell, the dirty drinking fountain, it is sad to see how they neglected the park since it was inaugurated until now. I emphasize that it is a fenced park, so that helps to be more sure that the children will not run out and have an accident Playground: suitable for all ages, difficulty for children with disabilities since there are no inclusive games Restrooms: very dirty Picnic area: just a large picnic area in front of the courts, and small picnic tables in the play area
My wife and I had the opportunity to help build this park a few years ago and our grandsons love it. There are areas dedicated to 2 and under so they can play without being run over by bigger kids. In the summer, the water turns on to create mist throughout the playground. They even have swings for kids with disabilities so everyone can be included.
This is a TOP 10 Utah park to visit. Just a delightful buffet of play structures with a NASA theme. The architecture here is combined tastefully with essential local play structures such as beehives and a farm like fun. This place is ideal for kids of all ages with separate wall off areas for ages 2-5. As of Sept. 2022 this park is undergoing another refurbishment which adds pickleball courts, new fences and other additions. The last park refurbishment took place in 2019. This created a park atmosphere that eliminates many of the old hidden nooks, crannies, and non visible areas where children could hide potentially within the play area itself. Available Parking has enough spots for all. Bathrooms are clean and GRAFITTI free. Playground: Play structures are synthetic, recycled styled wood with few broken structures, climbing areas, and skill american ninja challenges. Restrooms: Clean, GRAFITTI free, and safe. Plenty of lighting and stocked with paper.
Super fun playground! I remember going here as a kid when it was the "wood park". And now they've updated it and it looks amazing. They still have the rocket ship and volcano. There's plenty of seating for parents and a shaded area with picnic tables. The area for little kids is definitely worth checking out if you have littles.
I loved this park, as an adult it felt so good to walk on such a squishy bouncy ground. The playground is massive and so many parts to explore even musical attractions which you can hear a ways from the park the tones make your mind wonder and draws you in. Lots of children were there on a Friday blue sky afternoon in May. My kids are big for their ages, they enjoyed the freedom and the playground. It's a lovely park.
My grandmother lived across the street years ago so I've been coming to this park for years. I'd say it's been 10 years since I've seen the place and decided to bring my two kids, wow did they love it! It's all they talked about for days, how they wanna live there just for the park!
The nostalgia this park gives me! I haven't been since it was redone, until a few days ago, and I brought my son. Pretty sure he enjoyed it as much as I did as a child. I love the amount of seating and shaded areas as well!
Really fun park! Huge with lots of space to roam and run around. But maybe a little too big for a playdate between kids that aren't very familiar with each other. There are, if I remember correctly, 2 buckle-in swings available for little kids, one on the younger kids side of the park and the other on the older kids side. The parents that I've met here are also quite friendly, which I appreciate. There's a set of bathrooms next to the playground and another set across the road coming into the park. Dogs aren't allowed in the playground, except for service dogs, but dogs are allowed at the park itself.
The park just re-opened after renovations and it is great. The old park was really stunning with all the woodwork, but the wood was no longer smooth and needed serious resurfacing. The new version has a lot of the same feel to it... lots of places to climb, lots of nooks and stuff but had 2 ares, one for bigger kids one for toddlers, and has a single entrance/exit which is nice. The are lots of tables and benches, so you can have a nice place to sit while kids play or bring a lunch and not have to even leave the play area.
Really neat park for families. There are two different playground areas that separate younger and older children playground areas. There is a also a shady area to relax under trees. Multiple benches are available. Restrooms are clean.
