The Redwoods Art Gallery and artist Stuart C. Foster are located on the Avenue of the Giants in beautiful Northern California along the Eel River.
Stuart is an oil painter who was inspired by the wondrous Redwood trees in the grove, 12 years ago, right down the road from his current gallery.
He has been to four different colleges (Otis Art Institute, Sonoma State University, Humboldt State University, College of the Redwoods) and has paintings hanging in the California State Capital as well as in the Department of Agriculture building in Washington D.C. commissioned by the Six Rivers National Forest.
Even with all the classes and formal education he received at university, Stuart feels that none of that compares to the natural inspiration and energy that the trees bring him.
