First off I'd like to say this to the people who felt like they were "put off" by the employees there: Don't be timid! These guys are pros at what they do, and if you're confident in your tone and who are ready to learn, they are more than willing to help you out. The first time I came in I was very nervous, and felt the same way after I left. I talked to the staff after that and I let them know how I felt, they told me to always ask them if they have a question. Always assert your questions and be patient, they're all friendly guys, whether you're buying something that day or not. As you go they will teach you what you need to learn, regardless of your age! That being said, I love this store. I've been to reef stores all over the valley and no one has such a nice selection of both fish, coral, and invertebrates. The way they ensure that all of their livestock are healthy and ready for your tank is complete and professional, and while their prices may seem a bit steep, they are reasonable for such a high quality. They also will do free water tests for whatever you bring in alkalinity, Mg, calcium, etc. and will help you set up a good tank. That being said, if you're interested in reef tanks and want to learn more, just drop by the store and look around, and always ask questions. I've been a happy customer for about a year now, and will keep coming here, regardless of where I end up in the Valley.
The prices are just way too high in comparison to other local stores. You'll find most prices 30-50% higher than you'd normally pay. Talk to the guy with the stretched lobes. The guy with the hat is not pleasant to talk to. Nice looking place. Kind of hard to get to. Great selection. Unfortunately the insane prices will keep me from returning.

These guys are always super nice and helpful to me. Coral prices are high, but they quarantine all their fish, even the cheapo things like Green Chromis. Very healthy fish.

Pulled in at 640 and they were "closed." They are supposed to close at 7. Will take business elsewhere.
