I can't say enough great things about this place! We came to visit from Toronto Canada and love a good stone crab feast when we are in Florida! We heard of this place through a friend that told us about great pricing for stone crab. We fell in love with this place! The owner/staff took so good care of us making sure the stone crabs were chilled for our long ride and packed us up with everything we needed. We ended up eating them in front of the shop. The owner came out with water for us in case we needed it and ensure that we can use their private washroom to wash up if needed. If you are in the clear water/st. Peterburg/ Tampa area this should be the only place you go to for your fresh seafood and especially stone crab! Love this place to pieces!!!

We have been visiting Indian Shores the past 4 years each spring for a month and Nachmans’s has become a favorite part of this experience. They have an outstanding daily variety of fresh seafood portioned properly, prepared for cooking conveniently, and the result is a fantastic culinary experience. If you are looking for proper, local seafood, look no further. Nachman’s has what your looking for.

Unbelievable Fresh never frozen seafood, their wine prices are also competitive! Picked up some lobster from them and it was the best lobster I’ve ever had. Hidden gem for sure

Best smoked fish dip I've ever had! Made right there. You will only get fresher fish if you catch it yourself. Great selection and they also sell phenomenal wines at good prices. Very nice people!

We got so lucky that our apartment was so close to this place. Great and fresh seafood. The smoke fish spread is simply amazing. The staff is very kind and helpful.

Recently discovered this gem and I'm so impressed with their seafood and also amazing n friendly service. The fish spread is the best I've had, you can put it on a flip flop and it will still taste good! I put it on anything, on bagels is awesome My last visit I grabbed these crab cakes which are outstanding and the U10 shrimps If you're in the area, definitely swing by, they even have wine there!

Oh my gosh! We stopped by tonight just to see if we could find some fresh local fish worth eating. We have been so disappointed in the restaurants and have a decent kitchen in our rental. We were floored by the staff and the selection. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The fish selection was awesome plus the wine available to purchase was absolutely astounding. We ended up with a nice piece of black grouper, house made tartar sauce, a small container of smoked fish dip, and a bottle of wine. They threw in a couple of lemons and instructions on how best to cook the grouper. We just finished dinner and I have to say it was the BEST piece of grouper I have ever had. Customers forever!!

Best seafood market in the area! Super fresh fishes at very reasonable prices. Family run business and everyone is very friendly. Don’t forget to try their smoked salmon, chicken and ribs. They are yummy

Knowing they have their own boats to fish locally, I Went to Nachman’s Native Seafood on Friday, 6/10/22 to buy a pound of Black Grouper to prepare at home. LeeAnn was behind the counter, with a smile n great cooking suggestions. She was so friendly n helpful, she told me exactly how to cook the Grouper. It was fresh & delicious! It smelled so good while being cooked, my neighbors asked what I was cooking. The next day they went to buy their own pound of Grouper for dinner!

Went here a handful of times. The fish spread is what they are known for and it’s ok. 3*s I usually add more smoked fish if available because this spread is full of fillers. I’ve also taken away their smoked salmon. One time it was phenomenal!. Another not at all as it was mushy as if frozen too long? But yet another time they had smoked mullet-one of my favorite things. But when I got home to dig in, the mullet was not only WwAAAyyy over cooked, hard as a rock, it was positively rotten. It smelled horrible. My friend who eats fish usually no matter what, couldn’t even lick the fork after it was touched by this rotten mullet. I called and asked if I could bring it back, they seemed insulted and bringing it back was highly discouraged. Oh well, back to Wards Seafood. It’s a drive but Wards Seafood is worth the drive.
