Reese's Service Station

Reese’s Chevron has earned a strong 5 stars in my book. They give good ole fashion service at the pump. For you younger ones that means they pump the gas for you. They check the air etc... their service was outstanding. The old school decor was the bomb. Thanks for taking me back in time

I discovered Reese's when I moved to Sarasota nearly 20 years ago and have been going there ever since. It's more than just a gas station. It's one of the rare full service gas/service stations left in Florida or anywhere. The business opened on Main Street in the 50s. It's family owned and operated be people who do theiswork because they love it. The mechanics are excellent and their "old fashioned" service makes every customer feel special. I no longer live near downtown but go out of my way to fill up there weekly and they have taken total care of my cars since the day I first said, "Fill it up, please."

Nice convenient gas station in the middle of town on Main. Apparently full service. Very nice people. Regular $2.99/gal. They pump for you. Couldn't be nicer. Easy I'm and out at stop light on south side of Main.

This place is fantastic. They are fair about repairs, and a joy to step in and see. It ought to be on the tourist map as it is a window into how America used to be with family owned stations and repair shops. Mayberry but its now. Bring the kids and grandchildren to see it. You can also get a Coke inside, as well as see the collection of old gas station toys and trucks along the top. Chevron ought to make sure that there is one station like this in every town.

I honestly felt robbed at this place. They charged me $98 dollars for nothing. It was just a general check up. They found nothing wrong with my car and still charged me that amount. I understand service fees, but $98 for just scanning a vehicle through a computer is crazy.

This proud, family owned and operated, TRUE "service station" is a fantastic breath of fresh air. Honest, dependable, trustworthy and gladly serving clientele that are "customers for life." I would recommend my mother get her car serviced here!

Chevron on Main St. Sarasota is the best; I've been in Sarasota for seven years, and I'm so happy getting my repairs there, as well as gas. Not long ago I left my credit card there accidently; I knew it would be there when I drove back; they were waiting for me for me to pick it up.; they said they tried to flag me down when I left but didn't see them. They are wonderful people.

If you live in the downtown area and you haven't been here yet, make it your next fuel stop! This is the only full-service gas station I've ever seen here and these men are wonderful. I didn't have to lift a finger. So nice, great service and quality fuel!! Go already.

Had a very good experience with them. They fixed my massive oil leak in a day even when they were super busy. I found out my friend who used to be a race car driver took his car there too, so it’s got to be good. I will definitely be back for any future automotive needs that I can’t handle myself.

I have been a customer of Reese's for 10+ years. I gladly pay a little extra for the gas, because of the service and friendliness of the team. Besides, I always make up for it on the service. They are honest, reliable, and priced well below dealers and other service stations.
