Nice looking theater, but, needs more improvements. I love the appearance. It wad clean and reminded me of the way movie theaters would look back when I was growing up in the 90s. The issue with that is the seating was outdated. Well the floor seats, at least. I would've liked if the rows weren't so close together.
I was informed tonight that this location is permanently closing on July 20. This saddens me. This is a solid theatre especially if you have Regal Unlimited. The next closest Regal is in Hunt Valley, which is a little bit of a drive for Harford County residents. I never get concessions, since they are pricey. My only other slight is that the AC struggles, especially on humid nights and I found the theatre cold in the winter. Parking has always been great and it's in a convenient location. The entire theatre is spotless and very clean, which has been rare for most movie theatres in my experience. I will miss this theatre for the convenience and affordable movies, but life moves on.
This was my first time to Regal Bel Air location and it was wonderful. Prices were very good and staff was exceptional. If no tickets purchased online, the ticketing touchscreens are just beyond the front door. There is space for the children/adults to video game, and a photo op to the right upon entering, very nice set up. I, look forward to going, again.
Regal Cinema was one of the cleanest places I had ever been to as a child. The first movie that I saw was just Disney's Tangled. Unfortunately, the movie theater permanently closed on July 20th as the company had to file for bankruptcy. I wonder if the movie has become the new flagship cinema after renovation.
Twice, we have had “private screenings” because we were the only ones in the theater. It is clean, and as all theaters are the refreshments are overpriced, but also limited. While I don’t need a recliner, for 12 dollars the seats are very narrow, like on an airplane, one would brush arms and legs with strangers if it was full. Usually they are the last ones showing a movie we want to see so that’s why we go there.
I have been here multiple time over a few years, they have a summer promotion which allow you to watch serten movies for 1 dollars per person, I have fond memories of going here with my family. The theaters are clean and the common area is darkish, so you aren't blinded when you want to talk about the movie. 5/5 would recommend
As a Regal member, I'd say all the Maryland Regal theater are old outdated and poorly attended. However, I will say, in comparison to my local AMCs, they are cleaner... maybe because they are empty. In a post covid world, that is a great thing for seniors or immune-compromised persons looking to get out. I visited this location for the time yesterday it was a sunday afternoon. There weren't many people. The place was clean. The snacks were stock. Had a problem at the cashier because I have unlimited and was charged. It was resolved. The game area was small but bigger than the Columbia Regal game section. Watched CREED. The room was small. They didn't have A Thousand and One at any Regal, so I continued to dislike this Regal Unlimited pass. I will cancel after my 90 days are up.
Easy to buy what you need. You don't feel hassled by staff. Things went the way they were supposed to. We just had an issue with the cup holders. They were open more in the back and we had two people in our party spill the cup backwards, but they were also doing a lot of moving.
Great Movie theater. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Clean movie theater had plenty of seating to choose from. And best of all, great movie " little mermaid "
Good concessions, terrible seats, and sound. This theater needs a face-lift. The seats are narrow, worn, and uncomfortable, and the audio is loud and distorted.
