I recently visited this cinema and overall, I had a great experience. The cinema is conveniently open until late, which allowed me to catch a late-night showing without any trouble. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the theater was clean and comfortable. The audio and visual quality of the movie was excellent, with crystal clear sound and bright, vibrant colors. The only issue I encountered was a distracting mark on the screen in the room where our movie was playing. Although it didn't ruin the experience entirely, there were moments where it was noticeable and somewhat distracting. However, this didn't detract too much from the overall enjoyment of the movie. Overall, I would definitely recommend this cinema to anyone looking for a great movie-watching experience. The minor issue with the screen mark was overshadowed by the fantastic staff, comfortable theater, and excellent audio and visual quality.
No one checked your ticket when you walked in, so it literally was a free-for-all. The bathrooms were a mess with no toilet paper. Waiting in line to get food took forever. It’s in such a great spot there needs to be new management. On top of that you can go to another theater with seating recliners.
Sad to see a movie theater like this. This place use to be so nice but as people go less to the movies the theater doesn't update. Still has old chairs you had to get tickets at the food stand it's sad
Went to watch Equalizer 3. The seats are filthy. I tried to look for a different seat, and all of them were dirty. This place needs an inspection. I had to ask for a refund because I was wearing a white shirt. I knew the seats would have put a stain on it.
I must say, my recent visit to Regal in Sawgrass Mall was quite a letdown. Despite being located in one of the busiest malls in South Florida, the theater appeared outdated, dirty, and uncomfortable. It's surprising that such a prime location hasn't seen any significant remodeling or investment in better seating. The state of the bathrooms was far from pleasant, and the overall cleanliness of the theater's floors left much to be desired. To make matters worse, an unpleasant smell seemed to linger in every screening room. Regrettably, I won't be returning to this theater in the future. This experience was a clear reminder of how competition in the area is miles ahead in terms of providing a comfortable and enjoyable moviegoing experience. It's my hope that Regal takes these concerns to heart and takes steps to enhance the quality of their facilities.
The theater is "dated". The staff were friendly, the popcorn was very fresh and the concession stand was clean. The common area was also clean. Because the theater shows it's age the seats are a little warn but clean.
The bathrooms was a mess , the carpet on the hall way so grows nobody clean. How they keep place like this open. One of the toilet was stock, maybe someone has stomach pain or something. Please keeper clean
Not what it used to be ... Went to catch Oppenheimer opening day in the IMAX cinema, and the experience was not impressive. Service going in was meh, only adequate, staged as a free-for-all scrum for those wanting concessions. The cinema itself was not terribly comfortable, seating-wise, being rather narrow and tightly packed though legroom was okay. To top it off, sound volume was terribly - even painfully - loud. I used to be a card carrying Regal Sawgrass cinema-goer, but I have to admit I'm not very eager to return.
We saw a movie in the Imax yesterday and had a horrible experience! We wait over 25 minutes in line at the concession stand due to the fact that only 2 lines were open on a busy Sunday afternoon. Employees spent more time chit chatting then working to get the crowd moving. After waiting so long we missed the 1st 5 minutes of our movie and were so rushed that we got to our seats and realized the cashier had forgotten to give us a drink. It was extremely frustrating! Will never go back to this unorganized, outdated movie theater! The worse $175 I've ever spent!
Wanted to like this place but it's one step from being out of business. Located in a great spot next to plenty of dining and shopping but the theater has not been taken care of and it shows. Purchased my IMAX tickets in advance paid a premium versus other theaters and, also, a $5 service fee on top and, upon arrival, there was no one in attendance to check my tickets. Only two people working the counter with long lines and, obviously, plenty of overpriced junk food. This is common and acceptable in a busy theater but it was the IMAX experience that was WAY off from other venues I attended. The IMAX theater has 20+ year old seating with very little legroom, no recliners, and zero personal space. Yes, the screen was larger and the sound was excellent but the experience was not relaxing. In fact, it was stressful. Many people in attendance were sitting wherever they wanted to and not in their assigned, purchased seating. The theater was hot with little air flow. The movie blacked out twice during showing and, when that occurred, the lights came on full blast and, each time, it took over ten minutes to have someone turn them down again. It was just an inexcusable lack of attention to a so called premium venue. If you are seeking an IMAX theater to experience a quality motion picture I would recommend the Paragon in Delray Beach if you are willing to travel a bit. There you will find a larger staff who are service-oriented and willing to ensure an enjoyable experience.
