City Center located near Regal Imax theater in Downtown Stockton California. Lots of shopping centers, restaurants, San Joaquin County Office and Stockton Police Deptt are located near this. Stockton Flavor Fest was going on just opposite to Regal City Center during weekend on 20th May. It was really fun with lots of food courts, food stalls and food trucks serving Mexican, Cambodian, Philippines foods. Really fun for all family members specially for kids Rain Bath, for Teens guys and girls as Music festival orchestra was also there. Entry fee for adults was 10US$, Teens 13-17 5 US$ and free for below 12 Years kids. Frisking was also there. Had fun on weekend, people in and around Stockton shouldn't miss this.
Located in downtown Stockton, featuring stadium reclining seats, IMAX & 3D available, 16 theaters. Large concession options including ice cream, burgers, chicken strips, nachos, wine. Arcade area.
Clean, comfortable, friendly staff. Although it's downtown Stockton, it's close to safe and secure parking in the Coy Garage. The theater validates parking for up to 4 hours. Don't forget to stop by the customer service desk to stamp your parking ticket. Of course, you will still pay $15 - $20 for popcorn and a drink! The Imax theater is great. During the loudest soundtrack moments, the sound appears to vibrate the Imax projector, creating visible distortion on the screen. Seems like a predictable and preventable occurrence. That said, it's a minor and infrequent distraction, and the sound quality is great! Lastly, the lead-in commercials and upcoming previews are numerous and drive the movie start time well beyond the posted time. There is no benefit to arrive early. It's a good theater with good technology and staff.
I like that this theater features films that other theaters may not run. We went to see Asteroid City, which was very quirky but also very entertaining. Previews for other movies we hadn't heard about will probably keep us coming back. Thanks for having more than action and horror movies!
I find the interior of the theater to be quite pleasant. The exterior is also quite charming. However, I must admit that the experience of being solicited for money immediately upon exiting the theater is a downside. The issue of homelessness is unfortunately prevalent in many areas, and some regions are more affected than others.
It was clean. Seating has improved with stadium seating. concession stand still a challenge for them. You have to arrive at least 20-30 minutes before your movie starts. If not you will miss the opening trailers and opening of the movie. They need to hire more individuals. Management needs to get out of the office and help their employees where needed.
Staff was friendly but the atmosphere and prices were mystifying. Almost 30 per person for tickets, two small popcorn, and a shared large drink. Movie was fine but an overrated experience.
Not a bad theater... drove out because they had a movie I wanted to view and the time worked out. Tickets sales online were almost all sold but when I got in the theater there were only about 25 people. I was puzzled! But it was clean, seats were comfortable and food was good.
Well the seats we purchased where taken unless you want to get into a fight over a seat your not getting the seat you paid for. I saw a teenager ask an adult to get out of her seat and they refused to. Seating really disappointing.
It's been a long time for me going to the movies. The people where very nice to us as we got there and they even greeted us as we came out from the theater. Even had one of them asked us if we enjoyed the movie and that we did.
