How can you go wrong with going to the movies? Always a good time and so many memories here. The only complaint is they don’t take Apple Pay. Literally almost ruined my trip with my kids. Let’s face it people it’s 2023 who actually has cash and their credit cards on them anymore? I don’t unless I go out of town. That being said, along with their payment system they also might want to look into upgrading a lot of things in the theater because it’s all outdated. Also don’t like the system of having to pay for tickets at the concession stands the lines were way too long. Other than that it was a great experience for my kids which makes it great for me too.
Best place ever with the best staff. They actually like movies and I've had the best coversations/debates about some of the movies with them. Clean and with fresh popcorn, I'm happy. They also will kick out people trying to be extra and loud with enough complaints. Lord of the rings was 4 hours long and we didn't have to deal with loud kids. Love this place. Way better than the old one next to the mall.
I signed up for unlimited movie plan for $23.99 month. I went to theater to watch the new Mission Impossible movie. The theater it was being showed on had no air conditioning. I had to leave but spoke with manager about the problem. It has been on going for several weeks and they haven't been able to get it fixed. It is very hot in Merced during the summer. They estimated the temperature inside to be between 80-85 degrees; intolerable. I called the corporate office in TN. They refused to offer a refund though they could not guarantee a comfortable movie viewing experience to me. I had to dispute charges with my Visa debit provider. I do not recommend anyone sign-up for the unlimited service.
Not bad theater experience. The overall vibe was good. The only issue was the sound and decibel level of the movie was deafening. It almost hurt at times. I had to go ask them to turn it down. After a bit they did but might be a good thing to check in the future.
I been here couple times but I haven’t been here in a long time ordered a large slush drink and lady gives me a medium and I had no idea until I went to get the refill they told me I got a medium and I was sure I got a large but I walked out and checked my receipt i was charge a large tried to go back in the doors were locked and I was knocking for a while and there was like 5 employees in the front not one looked my way ignored my existence until the manager comes and opens the door and we showed the receipt dude says he can fill it up but we didn’t get what we paid for instead he just filled it up with a regular soda they didn’t even give us our large drink. Honestly wouldn’t care if prices were cheaper but movie theaters are expensive and we should be able to get what we paid for.
This theater's is not particularly packed with people. There is lots of seating. Love the popcorn Friendly workers . The atmosphere was welcoming. We enjoyed our mother and daughter movie date.
Well, the movie was great! Bullet Train! Funnier than expected Next lineup of movies I'll be watching as pictured. We watched The Meg 2 this evening. Truth be told, I fell asleep at the beginning of the movie The action picked up a bit afterward. Overall It was an ok movie.
Lazy employees, absolutely lazy. Can not wait for a new theater with hopefully individuals that want to work operating it. Waited until almost every credit was done for them to turn some lights on so that I could get up with my older aunt. Please turn the lights on within a few minutes of the credits starting. You have to buy your tickets either online or at the snack bar. My aunt had her perks card out while ordering everything and the girl didn't bother scanning it. Then when my aunt, which is older asked about it the young girl said oh you can go online and do it. Come on.... get a better system. Luckily it was a good movie!
They have a great selection of snacks, as far as now I have always encountered people who have no issue helping or changing something if u accidentally messed up your order. Happy faces and good attitudes so far. But honestly I wouldn't mind an upgrade on the food being sold, as a fan of having hotdogs at the movies, just wish they served better sausage and add mayo to the sides. Small upgrade on the bread as well. Popcorn and hot chetto popcorn are always good.
I love going to the movies, but i noticed that most of the time, they reduced the brightness of the screens, and that ruined the theater experience. that's not ok. we spend high prices for the experience, tickets, popcorn soda $$ and we get to see the movies in a very blurry and dim/dark screen. no, no, that makes me not want to go here at the Merced Regal Hollywood 13 theater. please management stop doing this practice. this is the only big negative i have on this theater, and i hope it gets fixed. everything else is great . friendly staff,great sound,great popcorn, and is clean..
