Great place if your on a budget. Staff and cleaning lady are awesome. Rooms are dated but you get what you pay for. They didn't price gouge during the OC fair like all the other hotels in town and for that I give them 5 stars.Rooms: 4/5
Here is the most hon>////est review publicly posted. This place is old and dilapidated, the carpets look and smell 30 years old. Everything outdated I mean they still have tube TVs in some of the rooms. Holes in the walls and tiles falling off. Management doesn't have the greatest customer service skills. The worst is Jason, he is the owner's nephew, and if he wasn't family of the owner he would have been fired day two. The place is $90+ and for every person visiting or staying the night over two after 9PM its $10 additional. They will pound on your door if you don't pay. This place is pretty pricey compared to other places, and is swarming with cockroaches. They're pretty much everywhere, especially the bathroom. There's a small fridge and a microwave and an old TV, and the outside of the place is kind of ghetto. It's livable but I'd recommend staying somewhere else if possible. Edit: just kidding there's way too many cockroaches this place is pretty freaking gross
It is the worst Motel in Orange County!! The owner and the owners Son Treat people Terrible and there's always Roaches and BED bugs!! Everything is wayyy out dated, torn up, and Very Very Dirty!!!! I would stay far away from this nasty place!!!
The Carpets are Dirty, The couch had a whole on the arm, big like the size of a Quarter. This was the Gateway for the cockaroaches to go to and from Their Dundgen.Rooms: 1/5
Filthy, Need's to be Shut Down by Orange County Health Department. Better off to Sleep in your Vehicle. Filthy, Unbelievably STINKEY.
Was only visiting a guest at motel. Room was neat. Pretty basic room for an overnight stay. Didn't see any roaches, but was only there maybe an hour or so. Seemed a little "pricey" for what there was. Probably wouldn't "choose" to stay at that motel.
I have never been to a hotel that costs $75 per night and there aren't any solid locks on the rooms, it was disgusting and in the parking lot I found a syringe. My room smelled like smoke so bad and I smoke so you can imagine how it reeked and to top it off my friend and I were assaulted in the room and no one checked to see if we were ok. The walls are very thin and some drug addict came in the room with a knife and we were yelling to not kill us and not 1 person came to check or called the police. If you want bed bugs, dirty rooms surrounded by the gutter trash tweakers that live there by all means that's the place for you
The owner Peggy is very kind, she helped me thro a tough time. I stayed here for almost 2 months total with my son who is 8 years old. She takes no crap from anyone. And yet she still has a heart of gold. Thanks Peggy
Cess Pool of Meth Heads & Grimy Parasites. Nothing in my room worked - fridge, microwave, window didn't lock, stained curtain was being held together with paper clips, TV stopped working halfway through my stay. My dog got INFESTED with fleas from the place. And I mean she was COVERED in them!! Needles and drug paraphernalia all over the property! The staff is nosey and lazy. I financed a 2016 car my first night I stayed there. The next night some hater keyed my car door!! A $25,000 car!! The "security" is a joke. Of course they didn't see anything and it took the guy days before he looked at the footage - which I still don't think he really did. I figure he just says he did so he can drop the issue. They have people running around stealing things, up all night and hanging outside at all hours of the night, volatile domestic arguments between guests, yet they trip out because I had a friend stop by "after hours". They are completely over priced for that dump. Everything is out dated or broken. The first morning I woke up there was a crap show bc I never got my wake up call so I missed an appointment & was late for work!! The staff - mainly the fat Asian guy - is lazy and nosey and likes to instigate and antagonize a situation instead of calming it down. Do NOT stay here. Drive down Harbor Blvd and you'll find other hotels that aren't on websites that are cheaper and not as grimy as the Regency. That hotel should be condemned.
