Came in complaining about the worst pains I've ever experienced in my life. Was given antibiotics, had to ask for painkillers to recieve 3 regular strength Tylenol. So glad that $21m donation has gone towards the guards Netflix subscriptions rather than properly treating patients in need. Next time I'll turn myself into a human pinata rather than waste my time with outpatients

15 hours of waiting. One doctor on duty. Couple urine tests. Was told that I would be contacted about further testing. Blood work, ultrasound etc. I never heard from anyone since my visit there. Over a month ago. I was lied to. Emergency room doctor told me the system was broken and was going to collapse. He also said he regrets coming here from Ontario.
Had to take my 3 kids to ER at Yarmouth Regional hospital today 2months, 2 1/2yrs, 4yrs old. We were seen fairly quickly and processed in a super courteous and efficient manner. The ER triage nurse Simi was awesome with my kids - who were not in very good spirits - she was patient, kind and professional. Thank you!
I sought out a pregnancy termination at Yarmouth Regional Hospital as a young woman in about 2008. I ended up in the office of an MD who demanded that I give him three reasons he should perform the procedure. Caught off guard and humiliated, I cried as I provided justifications that I now know I didn't need to. I was put under anesthesia for the procedure. Horrible experience, probably illegal and malpractice, wish I could remember the physicians name. He had an accent, was definitely foreign. Now I know why that town was crawling with 15 year old girls pushing around strollers.
I went in with a dislocated ankle and had to over 5 hours only to be told that they had more important things to deal with I waited for hours in pain and was denied any pain meds until I had to literally beg for them Do not waste your time going here
severe pain and strugggling to breathe yet waiting 6+ hours to see a doctor in outpatients. average waiting time is 12 hours, you're lucky if it's any less than that.
My wife had to go to emergency department this week to deal with a deer tick bite, and being a retired RN wanted to have the remainder of the tick removed and get a prescription for antibiotics. Like too many others in the community we don't have access a family physician and likely won't for years to come. She waited OVER 9 HOURS to be seen!! Other patients gave up and left untreated while she was there. Although the staff and doc she encountered were pleasant enough this is totally unsatisfactory. How many people in the community are hesitant to seek medical help knowing they will need to wait for several hours to see a doctor? And no walk in clinics as an option? Where are the doctors and nurse practitioners?
Since moving to Yarmouth and having no doctor, I was referred to the primary care clinic . My care has been professional, respectful and I have had excellent results attributing to the doctors and nurses who work there.
I came here Saturday with severe left abdominal pain, pure yellow liquid diarrhea with blood in it sometimes, can’t eat without severe pain, I always feel like I’m gonna throw up. They did an ultrasound and x rays but said they couldn’t find what’s wrong with me so they refuse to do anymore tests, they won’t even do an mri. They think my severe upper left abdomen pain with my pure liquid yellow diarrhea and blood sometimes is “all in my head”. This hospital is ridiculous. Never come here, travel far away
