Visiting from out-of-state. Made a quick trip to the ER for an eye injury. Our experience was wonderful. We were taken in right away. Staff was friendly. We were seen by Dr. Bailey. He was friendly but professional. He was knowledgeable and diagnosed and treated the problem quickly. He even brought my husband a cup of coffee. Great visit if you find it necessary.

I just cannot say one bad thing about the hospital.  My husband had hernia surgery. Doctor Badger was excellent. All of the nursing staff from the time we got there until the time we left was the best. Friendly, caring, helpful. Professional. Explained everything in great detail.  We felt like we were family the entire time.

When I arrived it was approximately 1:00 a.m. and I was taken back to a room right away. The hospital staff was very professional and courteous. I certainly will let others know of my positive experience. Thank you.

Hello, I am an EVS employee here at monument. I just wanted to say how much I enjoy working for monument health. The staff here are amazing to work with. My boss is the best boss that I have ever worked for. She does a lot for her employees. I feel like this is more like family. The staff in the whole hospital are amazing not just the EVS staff. I wouldn't want to work anywhere else. Anyone would be lucky to work here. I hope everyone had a wonderful day.

We were very anxious having to take our sick daughter in on a Saturday night, and the nurse and physician were both outstanding - Brooke and Dr. Hoffman. They were so caring and friendly and made a bad night feel a little better. I was so grateful they were there that night.

They showed concern and seemed conscientious. What do I know, I am not a doctor. We have been to other emergency rooms and this one was just as nice or better. Moving from a huge metro area you wonder about the care one might get. No worries  here.

The Dr and nurses were caring and supportive. I was taken care of in a very timely manner. All of my concerns were addressed and they kept me comfortable. Thank you all!

Dr, Bailey and RN Martha did a very good job of taking care of me and looking for the cause of my pain. Even though it was a busy day for them I was very well cared for.

They were very accommodating and helpful. I had to wait 2 hrs for items to be brought from the rapid hospital but I was able to go home and wait and they called me  when it did arrive so it was more convenient for me.

I really liked the Doctors & Nurses. The finance department made everything as difficult as possible even with insurance.The lady here in Spearfish tried to help us but Hospital had no interest in working with us.  The monthly amounts they requested were crazy & had no interest to work with us in any way. Every visit  was a seperate payments. Have asked for itemized bill but did not recieve it. Only automated answers of what their policy's are. We were very frustrated with the whole experience.
