Lots of products to choose from, with friendly and knowledgeable staff to help. I don't have much experience with pets or pet stores, as we are just getting our first cat, but the one staff member we met was patient and helpful as we had lots of questions on food, cat litter, toys, everything. There's a lot of information and opinions on the web and sometimes it's hard to make sense of it all, so I found it helpful to actually speak to someone. She answered all of our questions and provided balanced perspectives, while making a few suggestions to us based on our discussions. This gave us a good place to start on our journey of pet ownership.
I never thought shaming and lecturing a customer for looking for a dog coat "so late" in the season aka mid November was a thing, yet that's exactly what happened--all I wanted to know was if more coats would be coming in for my recently adopted pup. Not to mention, we received zero help in trying to figure out sizing. We will be avoiding this store, the staff at the Victoria St. location is far more helpful and kind.
A big store with everything I need for my dogs, guinea pigs and gecko. The selection was ideal. The prices were fair. The staff member I'm sorry that can't remember her name... was exceptionally kind and patient with me and all my questions. Thank you!
One star for the nice store….zero stars for all staff! The most unfriendly, unhelpful staff. Will definitely not shop at this location again. Purchased a WAHL trimmer that had clearly been returned due to faulty product. Item was returned to the locked glass unit to be purchased again! When we returned not one staff apologized for the inconvenience or the error that THEY put it back on the shelf there was a date hand written on the box when it was returned. So customers need to inspect the box for that info…just in case? Customer service at this location is simply horrible! By all staff We have experienced in the past few months.
There is one cashier was particularly rude in this store. 3 out of 4 visits so far were extremely unpleasant. No complaints to Ren's pet in general, but I will prefer online delivery instead. Never going back again.
Extremely friendly staff, they are always so nice when we visit. Staff is also knowledgeable on thier products. Good selection of food and toys for your dogs.
Always a pleasure going to Rens. The staff are super friendly and always available to help. I do find however that they have a lot of items out of stock but if you ask them to call you when an item you need comes in they are always on the ball with that!
Forgot the brand I ordered during lockdown and the friendly employee looked it up and took me right over to where they carry the food I wanted. Great staff, great products. Always have what I need in stock and very knowledgeable staff!
Snoop loves his trips to Ren's. Great selection, and friendly staff who he loves to say hi to every time we drop in.
So much to offer for amazing member of your family . They have absolutely everything!
