As of this writing, I am a current resident of Renaissance at North Park. I recently had a very bitter experience over here. 3 weeks ago, someone stole my wife’s purse from the swimming pool which had the keys to our car. That very night our car was stolen from the parking lot of the apartment using that stolen key. We immediately reported the incident to the police. I understand the folks at the apartment office cannot do much about a stolen car but when we tried to talk to them, they were not very interested to hear about the incident and unsympathetic to the whole situation. Although there is a camera installed at the front gate, we were told that camera doesn’t work. Moreover, the management didn’t inform the incident to other residents and made them aware of the security situation. The pool gate code is still the same after the incident. Although, I mainly highlighted my bad experience, I do want to share some of the good things about the complex. The apartment complex is very nice and well maintained, service is very fast, but the management needs to take the security situation more seriously. Hopefully, my writing will aware the current and future residents of the apartment complex.
My move into the Renaissance Apartments was an easy process from start to finish, thanks to the lovely staff. And so far, I enjoy living here and love the amenities. Can I hear my upstairs neighbor walking around every now and then? Yes - but in what fantasy world does that NOT happen in an apartment complex? Overall, it's a quiet neighborhood that's well maintained and professionally staffed.
This complex is very safe and well taken care of. However, the front desk staff and new property manager are unkind and unhelpful. They act like simplest questions are a major inconvenience. Hoped for better customer service from such a nice property.
The office staff are very kind and helpful people and the complex is very nice. I had a good experience when touring these apartments and would recommend more people to tour here.
Great apartment complex. Stayed with them around 5 years. Nice management and staff, very accessible and timely maintenance for utilities, and dog friendly. They recently added outdoor fences to some of the first floor units which was a great addition. Nice park for jogging, walking dogs outside of the complex.
We moved out about 6 months ago and returned to DFW. Loved living in the Renaissance. Great apartments. I just found out that a package I was expecting here in Dallas was sent there by mistake. I called the office and nicely explained the situation to Hallie. She was extremely curt and unhelpful from the get-go. Refused to look in the package holding room next to the office and instead told me that I "was welcome to come look for it myself" even though I'm in Dallas. My husband called Teresa, the manager, who instructed him to "tell Hallie that Theresa said to look for the package." So annoying that this small request couldn't have been handled without having to be escalated to management!!
We have been living here for almost three years. We are so happy for finding an apartment at Renaissance. I think Renaissance is the best apartments to live in Lubbock. The leasing office is very helpful. They answer my call quickly and solve the problems easily. They are considerate. They do their best to make the residents feel comfortable.
This apartment complex is overcharging their tenants. Why do we have to pay monthly service fees on top of our monthly rent? There are charging fees to make your rent payment online. The apartment is not maintained correctly there cracks on the ceiling & walls etc.... We had previously discussed this with the office and maintenance but nothing was resolved. When we moved out, they charged us for additional painting services. Appliances are not clean or updated. The outside of the complex was not cleaned. Sometimes, I would see glass or trash on the lots. The customer services are very careless and not secure even though it's a gated community. People randomly started knocking and banging on my door, and I reported it to the office, but they did not send out an email to our community or address this with warning notices.
Being a single person, this complex feels very cozy, quiet, and importantly, safe. The outdoor space is very enjoyable and well-maintained. It feels very luxe for Lubbock with a tuscan style comparable to TTU. The maintenance team has been wonderful, helpful, and very quick to respond.
I absolutely love living here. The landscape is beautiful. The pool is so awesome. My children think it’s a resort. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Everyone is willing to go extra to make me feel quite at home. Management is amazing and the professionalism is bar none. 5 stars all around!!!
