I would have gladly given this condominium a five-star rating, as it truly is a lovely building with accessibility to everything at a reasonable rate and wonderful, friendly staff, board members, and neighbors. Unfortunately, in the few years I've lived there and now, regularly visiting friends, I request that management strive for improvement in selecting their first point of contact for incoming guests. There is a gentleman by the name of Norman who appears to have been there for a while. However, he either doesn't enjoy his role or comes across as naturally grumpy and intimidating. Despite his put-together appearance in uniform, he often appears judgmental and, quite frankly, rude. On multiple occasions, he could have been more helpful or accommodating, but instead, his words or demeanor have made my or my children's entrance more difficult. It's left an unpleasant feeling after these encounters. Sometimes, when individuals are given a degree of authority, they tend to wield it without considering the impact on others. I'm sure Norman may be a nice person if one gets to know him, but most people walking through the front door don't have that opportunity. If he continues to treat people in a way that makes them uneasy or afraid, it contradicts the welcoming atmosphere that "The Renaissance" aims to provide. I would encourage the renaissance team to prioritize the future comfort and satisfaction of guests and residents by addressing this issue promptly.
The worst place I’ve ever lived in my life . HOA charged 700$/mo and still try to squeeze out of your wallet for any possible ways..300$ for using an elevator to move furniture . If you didn’t notify management prior , you get charged another 300$ as fine. My dog peed on an Amazon package and I got fined for 70$. Despite all the money they collect , they can’t even fix pool before summer . If you have all the money you can dump for no reason , this is nice place to live . Otherwise, this place is pure scam .
Did a cleaning for a move out is nice looking . Here's some pictures , garage is a lil distant from entrance unless parking in VIP . Other than
Sweet building. Very clean and hotel like. Staff are super friendly. Valet for guests was extra convenient. Upper unit balconies have nice view of Dallas. Pet friendly
I only know this place cause my dentist, who is amazing, is in the building across from the Renaissance. Now I can talk all day about how I have the best dentist in the world, Dr. Avandanio but I know nothing about the Renaissance.
My experience at the Renaissance was top notch. I really appreciated how COVID-19 aware they are and vigorously safe about safety. Not just for employees, or residents but for the safety of all. I had an extremely good day getting to know the staff and some of the residents. The facility was clean and very pet friendly. You are warmly greeted when you arrive and when you leave it’s 1st class for Dallas and Dallas is first class as it is. I give them 5 starts gladly.
Most things are under management, although the HOA people have been changed frequently. The price is unbeatable for living beside the Katy Trail. The building is very secured. Comparing with many other high rises it's not top notch for sure, but you will get the average with a low end price. All in all 5 stars given!
The condominiums in this place have amazing views. It's walking distance from the Katy Trail and McKinney Avenue, with several parks very close by. A very beautiful neighborhood.
I owned a Building A East tower high floor corner unit with fantastic views for 6 years and really loved the place. All units are really to small but very sound proof due to the cement construction. The full time staff were great and like family, the temp staff called in on some nights and holidays could be clueless. Security in general was tight and I felt safe. The property is camera monitored by security at night, sometimes a little overboard but I guess that is good. For example, a friend of mine happen to walk on site with a backpack to meet me while I was taking my dog outside around 9 PM. My friend was approached immediately by security as if he was an unwelcome vagrant, I happen to be 20 feet behind security and witnessed the incident I really did not appreciate the way my friend was treated and quickly ended the interrogation. Trust me security does have a pretty good idea if you live there or not. So yes it is safe, but I began to feel paranoid that I myself was being watched.. I do highly recommend the place if you can get a good view and there are some incredible views, otherwise units are not all that special and small.
We have lived here for 18 months and have never experienced anything but exceptional service from management. We cannot understand the poor reviews from others. Yes, there are rules. With over 600 units in a high rise building there have to be some rules. But, we have found that all management personnel are very focused on service.
