So my mom dropped off some home goods and some children clothing at 1:30. Th older lady got nasty with my mom because we didn’t know there’s certain times to drop it off. The guy was nice to my mom but seriously now I feel like bringing my clothes elsewhere because apparently this place isn’t appreciative at for their donations. Smh Why is it so hard to say it politely that it’s not the correct time.
An absolutely wonderful thrift store! The employees are so nice and the prices are amazing! I love this thrift store and highly recommend it.
Visited today to Donate some clothes. The overall appearance of the place is nicely groomed. They are one of only a few places that are still actively receiving public donations! One of the employees was cleaning an already clean collection area while another waited for me to backup to the bay. Both were older gentlemen and the one helping was polite and friendly he even sincerely offered condolences on my fathers death. They have a sign posted about what they accept, which seems extremely restrictive all items MUST be working, no older computers, no pianos, organs, keyboards... This Thrift Store is a Ministry of Christ Central, and the employee I talked to is a parishioner there. Once approval is given by the county they plan to offer housing for the Homeless, battered women, etcetera. They also currently offer counseling, a computer lab boasting an ex-IBM employee of 25+ years, and Recovery services.
Stopped at the Tesla Supercharger and while charging walked over to take a look a found white corning ware for 4 great to use for serving breakfast.
Amazing staff that maintains a clean and friendly environment. They go above and beyond to help with whatever you need, choosing clothes, or helping carry something out is no sweat for these 5 star people! Prices are cheap and the deals are killer. Im a punk rock 20 year old, with crazy makeup and 5 inch combat boots, and they maintain the constant feeling of genuine care and kindness with every customer!
It has many items and you would not think of looking for in a place like this. Items are gently used and if you don't find what you want today you may find it next week. Keep checking back they get new stuff in constantly.
This is the best thrift shop I have visited in quite some time. Why you ask? - I experienced great customer service. The associates and store manager were friendly and attentive. - The store was immaculate and all the items well organized. It was easy to shop the racks of clothes. -Parking was a breeze and there's a bathroom AND it was clean. - The profits are utilized for such causes as providing shelter to homeless Veterans.
The people are very friendly and everything was clean and well priced. The mission of the store is also a great way of helping the community. My kids and I will be going back.
First & last visit. While standing at the front waiting to see if I could get a friend to help me pick up a couch I was going to buy, my mixed son was looking at the watches. The woman came from behind the counter to ask my son if he slipped a watch in his pocket. Can forget about my business. Racial profiling isn't good for business.
Closing 30 minutes early is bad for business
