We have had excellent experiences dealing with Rob & Renate through the years, both with framing and with purchasing original works of art. We sincerely appreciate their relaxed and knowledgeable approach to the process. Renjeau also has a great website and fantastic selection of artists - we found a painting online we wanted to see in person, and they first showed us a computer simulation of what it would look like in our room, and then Rob brought it over to us to see in our actual space. We had been following this artist for a couple of years, and are thrilled to have her work in our home. Buying art can be a daunting experience, Rob makes it an easy and pleasant process. We highly recommend Renjeau Gallery.
I recently paid a visit to Renjeau Galleries after the purchase of a new home. I needed some photography framed, and also wanted to discover some artwork for our new walls. The experience was fantastic. My framing job was done promptly and at super quality, and owner Rob was very helpful in getting the large item into my car. However, I was even more happy with the experience of discovering new art. I'm a "regular Joe" without any special knowledge or appreciation of art. But Sarah and Kyra were very patient with me, took the time to learn about our living space and visual tastes, and were able to make some beautiful recommendations. As a result, I found three pieces that I absolutely love. Very much appreciated the personal attention, and willingness to help out an art novice.
I had been wanting the print “The Earth is My Mother” by Bev Doolittle for decades! I found one at Renjeau Galleries! The gallery representative, Rob Rosenfield, truly went above-and-beyond in ensuring the success of my purchase! Tried as he did, he could not locate the print at Renjeau. However, he secured another equally superior print for me at another gallery, and I received my beautiful print yesterday! Even the shipping method was superb! This was my first time dealing with Renjeau Galleries, but I can confidently say if I’m ever looking for another hard-to-find print, I KNOW who I will be contacting! Thank you, Rob, for an all-around, top-notch, professional experience!!
Renjeau Galleries restored, cleaned and reframe an oil painting from 1975 and I am beyond thrilled with the job they did. The painting had a varnish on the surface that had browned over time. They painstakingly removed the varnish on this large 50x30 oil painting. I wish I had taken a before photo to show what an incredible job they did! The brought new life to this painting!
Renate and her son, Rob, owners of Renjeau Galleries, were great to work with and I highly recommend them for framing. I went in with my oil painting nine days before Christmas, having been told at other local galleries there was no way they could have it done by Christmas. Renate and Rob said they would do their best after helping me chose just the right frame. I wanted a liner plus frame, making it more complicated, but they got it done. It came out better than I could have imagined and my sweetheart was thrilled with his Christmas gift. Plus you should go in just to view their art work, varied and special. You will find it a treat.
Renate at Renjeau Galleries is an absolute artist when it comes to framing something important. She has a keen sense of style and an appreciation for what works with the piece you're framing. We love this place and will never use another framer!
I called Rob and the team at Renjeau after a large canvas painting fell and tore. Rob explained the restoration process clearly and the price quoted was certainly fair for the amount of detailed work the repair required. When I went to pick the painting up, I was thrilled to see that the artwork had been returned to it's original form. To the blind eye, it is impossible to tell that there had ever been an issue which I genuinely did not think could be done. I was so impressed with the quality of the work that I decided to get the piece custom framed, which Rob and his team expertly helped with. Much like the restoration, the frame is spectacular and has been the perfect addition to the artwork. I highly recommend visiting this shop for any of your restoration needs and be sure to check out the gallery - there is some incredible work to see there!
If ever I have a special piece of art that needs framing, Renjeau is the first place I think of. I recently needed to reframe a treasured painting and brought it to Renjeau. They have the right combination of expertise, selection, and patience! Rob and the other consultant I worked with had a wonderful eye and were so knowledgeable about different techniques as well as how to mat the piece. It came out gorgeous, as if I had a whole new painting. They also have a great selection of art in A range of prices. My walls are pretty full so I had to look away! I was tempted in every direction. I highly recommend Renjeau for framing and for shopping for art. They are great to work with and know their stuff.
Ever since we discovered Renjeau Gallery in 2006, we've depended on them for all of our framing needs. They've framed for us way too many pieces to count ... everything from wedding gloves to antique cameos to fine art and photos, from posters to feathers to gold charms from a bracelet ... even a four-leaf clover. Each and every time, the process has been efficient and delightful from start to finish. Rob and Renata and their long-term dedicated staff are extraordinarily helpful, providing as much or as little guidance as we need. We completely trust their creativity, unerring eye and extraordinary artistic vision which always results in each piece we bring in being elevated to a totally new artistic level. Three years ago, we moved from the Boston area to Connecticut, but we still drive the 2 1/2 hours to bring our artwork to Renjeau Gallery for framing. It's worth it. They're that good. Really.
When we moved into our new home we needed some pieces to help make our house feel more homey. Rob and associates at Renjeau were so helpful! Renjeau had so many beautiful pieces from such a variety of artists that were able to choose some gorgeous art to complete our rooms. And Rob was great about keeping us with in our budget! What a wonderful experience. I wish I had more walls!
