The Republic Cafe, Portland's oldest Chinese restaurant, has been in continuous operation since 1922, the landmark remains in its original location.
One of Portland's hottest night spots and after hours clubs from the late 1970's on through today, the restaurant is known for inventiveness. Dishes such as Asparagus and Black Bean Sauce, Cream Cauliflower Chicken, and incomparable Original ABC Salad were created in its kitchen.
