Reservoir Park

Nice park with a great playground. It's not a huge park which makes it nicer in my opinion. Would have given it 5 stars but the restrooms there are not great and there are a few homeless people as well. They don't bug you or the kids though.

The park is nice and clean, BUT!! Homeless is taking over the picnic table area with their trashy belongings... Can't have a nice birthday party for the kids someone needs to look into this situation it's terrible! Playground: Nice and clean, seems safe.

We love this park. It is surrounded by streets but the kids mostly stay in the play area. There's no sand at this park, it has some benches. There's a neat little track for matchbox cars which all the boys seemed to flock to, there's swings and trees. Fake rocks for kids to climb that have bugs and lizards on them, my 3 year old really enjoyed the park. If it wasn't by the streets and had sand I would give it 5 stars.

All the parks in Long Beach are great, this one included. Well maintained!

Went here over the holiday weekend, it was a nice atmosphere. This is not my first time here, I've come here off and on for over a decade. There are bathrooms and a drinking fountain. Theres shaded areas, benches to sit and watch your children play or just sit and enjoy some good weather. It's a large park with plenty of space for all. They have workout stations through the outside of the park which are adult and kid friendly. The parking is free at 2 hour intervals. Playground: Its age appropriate for the children, some are plastic sooo while safe they will heat up during hot weather, pants are recommended for that reason. The way the games are designed it's good for their growing minds to figure out how to climb without being too overwhelming. Restrooms: Haven't been inside but did notice some unwanted guests that made one extra cautious and vigilant. Dog-friendliness: Seems to be dog friendly, there isn't a specific area for them but its very spacious. The owners seem to be aware that not all children like dogs and keep a leash and/or control over them. Picnic area: The picnic area is kept clean. Plenty of picnic tables for all, some are in shades areas, then again depends what time of the day you go, it may be more equal in shade.

Park is small and quaint. Always clean and the grounds are freshly manicured.
