I recently found myself having car issues. I was 2 hours from home and outdoor temperatures were to reach in the mid 80s. A heavy rain storm was bearing down on my spouse and I. I called this hotel and asked if we could just sit in the lobby and wait for our help to arrive. The manager was very agreeable and allowed us to wait indoors. I'm very grateful for the helping hand that they gave us. Please strongly consider using this location. I strongly feel that any extra cost you may have will be worth the service they're able to provide.
The breakfast buffet is the best in the area and the lady that takes care of it is very attentive, and friendly. Unfortunately, I won't be back. No pool, no manager's mixer in the afternoon, no room cleaning even though they said they would. Basketball hoop is broken, defective deadbolt had me locked out of my room. Toilet clogs for no reason. $190 a night is too much for such a sad experience.
I stayed at this hotel for 1 month. For the most part my stay was ok. My main issue is that it took 2 weeks to get on the room cleaning schedule.. When that got straightened out, the huge problem was that the housekeepers did a half job. The tables were not cleaned and the floors were not vacuumed. If it wasn't for my bed being made I would not have known someone had been there. The final straw was that I had to go to the store and buy cleaning products to clean my toilet. That hotel is very dated. The curtains were cracking due to sun exposure. The fridge was missing the cover where butter is stored. The desk chair was old and the leather had worn off. This level of service is not what I expected from a Marriott facility. When I told management about my problems she told me that the hotel was under renovation. My problem with that is, THEIR RATES DO NOT REFLECT THAT THEY "ARE UNDER RENOVATION"
There were kids screaming and playing basketball outside our room from 8-10 PM. By 9:30 we decided to call the front desk because they were being very loud. The guy working sounded annoyed that we were calling — like it wasn’t the first call he’d gotten about how loud they are — and told us that the court stays open until 10 PM. Stay somewhere else if you have an early morning. I can’t blame the kids — they went inside at 10, but the court probably shouldn’t be open that late when it’s 20 feet from the building.
A great place to stay. The service was good and everyone I encountered was friendly. The fire pit area was very nice! The breakfast had a lot of choices and was great every morning. We had a suite room and I wish the living room area and bedroom were not one room.Rooms: 4/5
My visit was an extended business trip. Home away from home. Lisa and Cindy always had breakfast and bubbly personalities. Roberta made sure our room stayed serviced. Duncan, Erica, and Gina topped it all off with any of our requests. I definitely recommend this location for lengthy stays, they all treat you like family and strive to provide excellent customer service
Very nice place. Only if they had a pool it would of been a 10. The staff is excellent. My room was nice and cool.Rooms: 5/5
My wife and I were staying here waiting for our new home to become complete. Upon arrival, it went very smoothly and the staff during that shift was cool. Several days later we get a phone call from the front desk regarding a technical issue in terms of our payment for extending our stay. The issue was not cost but was due to a technical issue with the bank and their arbitrary daily spending limit so we ended up having to move money around just to pay for the room. My problem with the hotel was that the older guy manager was completely impatient and was being very assertive and rude with my wife as if we weren't trying to or able to pay for the extension. They kept calling the room every 15 minutes and then we get knocks at the door. At one point the manager stood at the door and wouldn't leave until my wife physically followed him to the desk. Very unprofessional and no courtesy at all given the circumstance with the bank. Hotels like this, when they want paid they get very nasty about it even though you provide verification of your account balances.
