Apparently the front desk agents don’t have a map of the property. As a titanium member, I requested a specific location when checking in, but they didn’t know if it was on the right side of the building or not. When I went to take a shower in the morning it was full of hair and used soap bars. Nobody was at the desk when I left early in the morning. I expect more out of a Marriott property.
We came to town for one night for our son's wrestling tourney. We booked a one bedroom suite. Our bed was super comfy, the pull out couch wasn't amazing, but it's exactly what you'd expect from a pull out couch. Our son, 15, slept out there and hubby and I took the bedroom. The only thing I'd say to be aware of is that to get to the bathroom you must walk through the bedroom. Not an issue, but something to be mindful of. The shower was soooo good! As hot as you can stand it and amazing water pressure. Our experience was great. I did know the airport was close so I brought my box fan that I sleep with and turned it on medium to help drown the noise, but the hotel has earplugs right beside the bed if the noise is an issue. The ladies that checked us in, about 930pm, were super sweet and friendly. We asked for extra blankets and the ladies quickly provided them with a smile. Breakfast was great! Very surprised by everything offered, besides the normal juice, coffee, cereal, bagels, waffles that you typically see they also had sausage biscuit sandwiches, eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes, oatmeal, fresh fruit and more! Lots to choose from! Security was on site and we saw them several times. We didn't try the pool, but it seemed like a nice area with a gas grill. The gym looked clean and spacious with quite a bit of equipment. They have an outdoor basketball court and the lobby has balls available. I'm sure I'm missing stuff, but like I said we arrived late and were gone by 8am. We felt safe and would absolutely book this place again!
This was by far the worst customer service I have experienced with ANY hotel especially a Marriott. We travel 3/4 times a month for personal and work and we always book Marriott’s but this location will never get my money. They canceled our room at a discounted rate at 3:50pm via email because we didn’t check in was the claim. We came from out of town and were looking up the reservation on the app and it went away. So we called enroute as we were 10 mins away. The front desk claimed they called then said they didn’t have my number..lies. The supervisor was unavailable to talk and as we came to the hotel we thought we would contact customer care. Their assistant was useless as well, stated it was up to the front desk supervisor to “walk” me to another hotel they finally agreed but wouldn’t honor our discounted rate and wanted us to pay 3 times the rate at a non Marriott hotel! No thanks. We went in and the supervisor was “gone” for the day that quickly. It was all for the money and they wanted to cancel our room to get more from someone else and it’s disgusting for an Elite member. I will NEVER stay here regardless of the rate. Customer service epic fail!
Front desk was a great help..friendly. Room service was good...If come ..arrive early for parking..it's a cluster of hotels in the area..so get your elbows ready. It is near the airport..Other than that it was a great stay...Also the breakfast was fresh ..with options via a healthier menuRooms: 4/5
I stayed here during covid in 2020, the staff was incredibly friendly and always accommodating. That said, due to the fact I stayed in 2020, I had ordered multiple packages from Amazon and had them accidentally shipped to this address without even realizing it. I spoke to a manager by the name of Mark and he went ABOVE and BEYOND to ensure that I got my packages. They were important presents and I was leaving out the country in a few days. He kept in contact with me throughout the weekend and even gave me updates. He was incredibly helpful and I'm very grateful to all his help. To any management or anyone else reading this, employess like Mark are few and unfortunately, becoming more of a rarity. Thank you Mark for your outstanding customer service and thank you Marriott for hiring such a remarkable employee.
What a great place to stay. Very well kept and clean. It appears to be new or recently renovated. The staff when we checked in were so pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here. Rooms: The room we had was very nice, comfy and clean Food & drinks: The breakfast buffet was much better than some of the other Marriott's we've been to during our trip across the US.
Recommend This Place For Your Visits, Rooms Were Clean And Plenty Of Space. Everything Was Just Like The Advertisement. Will Definitely Book Here Again Rooms: 5/5
The room was alright, but the service was horrendous. No one was ever at the counter and when I went to checkout I got hit with a "early checkout" fee for checking out a day early. I can understand why a hotel would want to do this, but I have traveled for work for the past decade and never been hit with a "early checkout" fee. The fee was $139 too! When I called to ask why I was getting this fee I was told this is standard. When I pointed out that I have never been charged this fee in a decade I was told it was new July 2022. I travel twice a month and never seen this fee before and about 50% checkout a day early because I have finished up work early. I called Marriott corporate and got yelled at by a customer service supervisor that he didn't care that I had been a loyal customer. Needless to say I could never recommend this hotel to anyone from a customer service perspective and now I am reconsidering using Marriott for all my future business travel.
The room was nice, and the staff professional and friendly. Nice looking exterior with lots of trees and grass, almost looks more like a row of townhouses or apartments than a hotel. Nice place, we had a great experience. Rooms: The rooms are nice suites that come in king or queen bed sizes. Quiet, comfortable, clean. They have a living room with kitchenette, then a bedroom, and a bathroom that opens off the bedroom. The only thing I wish was that the bathroom also had a door to the livingroom. If anyone goes to bed you have to walk through where they're sleeping to get to the bathroom. Nearby activities: Right across the way from Kentucky Kingdom and Hurricane Bay. Walkability: About a 10 minute walk from the nearest convenience store. 20 from the grocery store. Food & drinks: Serves a nice complimentary breakfast. Also has a market where you can buy snacks or drinks. Its on the expensive side, but its convenient if you don't want to have to go somewhere.
Everything was terrific! Rooms were spotless! Bed and pillows were so comfortable! Breakfast was really good with a lot of options! I would definitely stay here again!Rooms: 5/5
